That is all ? Yawn. The showed multiplayer mmo fps which looks like halo4. I can't be interested in that.

Bungie should gone back to Myth 4

always online? persistent mmo like world? integration with smart devices? Ten year long story engagement? no actual combat shown (unsure if hipfire halo like or cod ADS like), and current gen visuals? literally everything sounds terrible for me personally. Extremely dissappointed, hope others can find joy in it

Looks great! Definitely current gen, and you can see Bungie's style everywhere.

However, what I think really stands out is how excited they appear. You can compare this to past ViDocs from Reach, for example, the difference is pretty noticeable.

I'm 100% confident that this is going to be huge. Bigger than Halo? Perhaps...

The DTOID preview brought up something really awesome.
Writer and design director Joseph Staten gave us an example of one mission he experienced during his play time that saw him and another player meetup in the last safe city on Earth, which is the one located underneath the Traveler. Players will call this city their home, and can find others in the Overwatch District to mingle and do activities such as gambling, competitive multiplayer -- or in this specific instance -- meet up with a friend to take on a mission on Mars.

Players can buy spaceships that will be able to take them to different planets such as the Moon, Mars, Venus, Saturn, and more. Bungie wouldn't say if you'd be able to have space battles and such, but we were told that traveling between different planets will be fast.

Once on Mars, the duo heads to a place called the Dust Palace to recover an artifact lost at a human establishment buried in sand. Planets will all have different terrains, features -- even day and night and weather cycles -- and in the case of Mars, it's one big desert-like place.

Mars is under the occupation of an alien race called the Cabal, which are described as big, armored rhino-like creatures. Other races you'll come across include spider pirates that rely on heavy rusted machines, time-traveling robots, and evil space zombies. Back to the Cabal, it's recommended to avoid combat with these creatures when you're on a small team as they aren't easy to take down. Joseph and his partner are unfortunately discovered while trying to sneak their way into the Cabal's territory, and the pair are about to get their asses handed to them.

Not sure why a super long-term MMO is starting on two consoles that are near the end of the lifespan and why it isn't on PC.

That doesn't make much sense.

Well that was dissapointing, can these guys ever make a game that doesnt look ugly as sin, the only good looking halo game was the one that wasnt made by them, hire some engineers god damn, invest some time and money on the visuals, sure its a current gen footage, even for that it looks like crap compared to whats out there so far.

They always make games that look very clean and polished. Which i would take any day over just having to have bleed edge graphical effects.

I have no idea what kind of ocular disorder people are suffering from when they say it looks on par with Halo 4. Halo 4 looks significantly better (from a purely visual standpoint).

However:

a. This is a work in progress
b. Bungie makes exceptional games that are not defined by their graphics (as opposed to mediocre games that look stunning, like one of their chief competitors over the years).

Huh, just posted earlier.

On the possibility of a PC version, Parsons said: "We would absolutely love to be on the PC. If you talk to the people upstairs, we play it on all platforms. So, stay tuned." No mention was made of a Wii U version.

It seems like they chopped a trailer up and put chunks of it between Bungie guys talking. Why did they present it this way? If you're going to have some epic narration of how you're a guardian with panoramic shots of the universe, do that in a trailer so we're immersed. Not a ViDoc

4 minutes of Bungie telling us how there is no limit to their imagination and that they are doing something crazy and its going to totally be better than Halo and OMG guys we are so brave to try this revolutionary idea...of course we wont tell you one single thing about the actual game but trust us!

So, large-scale sci-fi FPS/space/flight adventure? Neat. Looking forward to hearing/seeing more. Would love a full planet and solar system but I'm sure it'll be appropriately epic in gameplay scope and not just based in lore, like Halo has been content to be limited to.

I know it's early, but the visuals don't seem to be translating from the concept art very well. Just looks really bland, and sorta....generic sci-fi. Guns, star wars looking robots, ships, and robot looking guys with hoodies on....

Um...just gonna have to wait till more is shown, I guess. Hype deflating.

Wow. Was not expecting such a lukewarm reveal.

Tons of hyperbole on the part of the developers, concept art and story synopsis we've already seen, not nearly enough in-game footage or actual information about mechanics.

I know all that will come later, but after waiting so long and with the hype so high (not to mention most of the details in the vidoc were already leaked), this is pretty disappointing.

Still excited of course, but I was hoping for more.

You can't play planetside offline right? Makes sense for this to be online.

Also Jeff said this is a class based shooter for anyone confused.
