Nice sale.I hope Max Payne will be no more than 1200msp.
My biggest problem right now is not enough free space on my hard drive though.

I'm only in this for fighting games, though El Shaddai for three bucks is too good. I wanted to get it on PS3 originally, but I think I'll settle for this.

I'm gonna try it just in case, thanks.

edit: takes two days to create the account 0_o

It says 2 days but mine was approved in like 15 minutes so idk.

But idk when they'll add the points to your account. I made my account a couple weeks ago, did the survey for 20 Allards, then did the "buy something on the marketplace!" for 100 Allards. Two weeks later only the 20 point survey reward is showing on the site for me and they are yet to add it to my account.

Definitely picking up Halo 3 at that price. Final good sale because we probably won't be playing any of these on the next box. Still, tons of great deals here, well worth it if you're waiting on some. Halo Wars and Bioshock are really good.

Edit: Hmmm still seems to be listing Halo 3 at $20 on the Canadian marketplace. Hopefully it goes down more to the $10 it was quoted...

So MS is going no used games.

People say that MS no used games isn't equivalent to Steam because Steam has good sales.

MS has good sale.

hmmm.

Steam had good sales on everything, while MS has pretty much put all their weekly xbla sales behind the Gold subscriber fence.

The prices and sales for the Games on Demand titles have also been laughable since they started offering them too.

It's not outrageous that people have reservations about jumping into a MS digital market.

Yeah, this is the first XBL sale in recent memory that actual feels like a sale and not just temporarily making some titles almost as cheap as they are at retail for a week or so.

It's not outrageous at all to have reservations about that. I'm just curious what the Gaffo reaction is going to be if MS continues having these kind of sales.

Subscribed, thanks for the OP.

So do I understand this correctly, the games listed as 'week long sale' are now determined, the rest of the expected list will be a daily deal?

Is Dirt 2 any good? edit: Or should I get GRID. Need a new fun racer to waste time.

Bought a couple games, including some I had already. At $3-5 it's worth having them on the HDD so I don't have to go to the basement (where I store games I'm not playing for a while) to dig them out.

Soooo lazy.

Came here to bitch about the fact that El Shaddai isn't available on the UK store, but seeing as Microsoft's math with the similarly priced Raving Rabbids goes like this:
RAYMAN RAVING RABBIDS (85% off) - $20/1600 > $3/240MSP/UK:£2.69/480MSP... Yeah, eff this nonsense.
Good deals for US customers though!

Yeah, the rest of the deals will be split up in to Daily Deals. So tomorrow Halo games will go off sale and I could imagine them having, say, all the AC games on sale for the day etc.

Ok thanks for the heads up.

It's a good list, if the prices are good I might snag 3-4 titles I had on my list for quite some time.

Well I bought Halo 4 for 30€. That's better than any store here (cheapest I have seen it was 45€).

If these games have good deals then I'm buying them as well:

Both Batmans
Borderlands 2
Dishonored
Fable 3
Fallout 3 New Vegas
Both Metal Gear Solids
Red Dead Redemption

Is Halo Wars worth playing?

The only game missing in my Halo collection.

For reference, I like Starcraft, but I feel like this Halo game is just turtle, mass forces, and attack all.

that's a ludicrous exaggeration.

I usually agree with you, but if he's talking about the MS Store BF sale (and compared to other physical product sales), it's not really. Just about every game they had was $10 new (with free shipping, I believe). I personally bought about 15 of them. I'm not aware of a better sale on physical products.

Certainly a good sale considering they were physical products and could be traded in for more money than you spent.

I am STILL waiting for REZ or Ikaruga to drop.
Its been ages, since these 2 were released on xbox live, but i have never seen them below 800 ms points. And this is just too much for me...Iam always buying games when they cost less than the original price...

The original price of Rez was $50, on the PS2. It's been 80% off ever since being released on XBL, on top of having vastly improved graphics and sound. A crazy good deal.

I'm really hoping that this is the precedent for how Xbox online sales will be from now on. If they truly plan to combat PSN and Steam, they're going to have to offer deals that actually draw purchases. El Shaddai for 3 bucks? Ain't no way I'm turning that down. I might have to get Bioshock 1 too, just because.

Halo 4 has been $40 since Christmas..

This makes me think MS has considered blocking used game and will use Ultimate Game Sale the same way Steam has their seasonal sales
