No way this is CG, there are far too many details around the eyes, eyebrows, his mouth movement, his neck muscles, the eyes expression; no, although I'd love to, cannot believe.

I take it back, that might be CGI.

Bandages stratigically cover up telling signs of a render (polygon angular ears, hair is covered, and skin pours texture map). Not only do the bandages and brused lips make the guy look like bandaged guy from the trailer, they also do a sneaky job at covering up a few uncanny valley givaways. There are no visible round edges because the bandage obscures them.

At least, thats my theory.

But 1. I think that would take way too much time/money 2. It's not In-Engine, so then what would be the point of doing that anyways...
