[Dance Inferno]

The afterparty was pretty awesome, W&W played a bunch of their hits for the first half hour (some of the same songs they played during ASOT 600), then they spent the next 90 mins dropping house bangers. It wasn't really a trance show so much as a collection of the most popular Ultra songs. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Double edit: They had cops checking people as we were entering the W&W afterparty, and the dude in front of me had forgotten to hide his Molly and ended up frantically swallowing it in front of the cop. He got arrested.

Some nice CDs in there I'll have to check out... own the Sasha (of course) and Joris Voorn ones, I especially like the Basic Channel sample you used.

Jealous to those who got to go to ASOT600 last nite. I was on Staten Island for a birthday party but got to hear some of it on the drive back and forth, and it sounded pretty intense.

Just finished the Best Electronic Albums 2011, will watch the top 100 albums later. I have to say, it's a really impressive job, lots of good stuff that I haven't heard before.. you seem to really be partial to the ambient/downtempo.

It actually wasn't all that bad. You got a lot of space to yourself to jam out to the music, you could move around within your section to talk to people, and most importantly each seat has a cup holder for the copious amounts of water you're going to be drinking.

My friend was down on the floor and she told me it was suffocating the amount of people that were stuffed in that section.

Yea I see no problem with seats. Not like you can't stand in front of it and dance and such. That floor section did look fucking stuffed though. Was she towards the front? I usually try to stay in the middle ish at massives. A lot less crowded

Just finished this quad disc mix by John Digweed

Absolutely fantastic, first two discs build the mood, and the last two are full on tech house/techno bombs.

This four hour mix shows Digweed is the master of composition and building sets slowly, highly recommend to any house/techno fans.
