I'm so glad you aren't in charge of NoE's decision to localise games. Almost no non-Pokemon or Dragon Quest RPG would be localised.
I should've indicated what I meant better. I mean more along the lines of that they're releasing it when they know it too will probably not sell that well.

No point bringing Bravely Default over, it probably won't make money. The Wonderful 101 too since nearly everyone here thinks its not a system seller. Oh and Pikmin 3? It has been 10 years and it's a game that only sells to the hardcore Nintendo fans according to a lot of posters here! Cancel it all! Just get cracking on NSMBU2!

The eshop gives Nintendo the ability to sell games exactly like this for far less than it would cost them to do a print run for retail.

As this thread has shown, the only reason anyone even cares about Game & Wario is because it'll make the Wii U library look slightly less-abysmal during the current game drought. But maybe like...three people in the thread have expressed any personal interest.
Well, since nothing suggests otherwise...
This is an idiotic thread. Why would they cancel a game that they've already spent money developing and that is pretty much done? Sure, it won't sell systems but it'd be a huge waste of money. Between this and the ideas in the Iwata thread, some of you guys would lose billions if you ran Nintendo.

I have not seen much of the game, but what I saw looks fun. I would need to see all mini games in action to base how much I will pay or if I should get it at all, but it seems 60 or even 50 is way too much.

This would be the best idea to save on costs and release it outside of Japan. I always thought these kind of games did well enough because of how off-beat they were from the traditional Mario/Party games Big N releases.
Could also be the fact that Japan is pretty much giving up on the home console business all together (consumers, not developers).

#1 - It's not a killer app by any stretch, but it looks fun. I plan on buying it as my family will have as much fun on it as we've had with any of the Warioware games.
#2 - Why would Nintendo scrap the release when new releases can do nothing but help the flailing system? The idea that they shouldn't is just being goosey.
#3 - don't act like an opinion is fact. Maybe you don't like seeing them reveal or talk about one of the mini games on a Nintendo Direct, but that doesn't mean that everyone feels the same as you.
Edit: I do agree with the idea that fifty is too much for it, I'll grab it when I can get it for thirty or less.
In the meantime, between Lego City, Monster Hunter, and Need for Speed, I should be set on WiiU gaming until the summer.

But seriously, what happened to Wario Ware? It used to cool...now with this and DIY before it (great if you're that guy who bought 3 copies for storage space but well it flopped and even the mini games by actual indie developers were kind of meh...), I feel the series has lost direction a bit.

I thought it was $30? Europe of course got full price and the game bombed but not on the level of the DS version (NOE knew it wouldn't be a million sells so didn't keep trying to resurrect it). Sure price had nothing to do with that...

you feel like you want to make business decisions for nintendo and its really not a good decision by the way, because its really different markets. and if ever nintendo did make the decision not to release g&w for other regions, i think you're just gonna come back screaming NINTENDO HAS NO GAMEZ.. because nintendo is always fighting a losing battle in your perception.
