At least, the sorceress is fighting her own battles instead of being treated like a helpless person trapped somewhere far away to be rescued by a perfectly chiselled man.

Honestly, I should have worded that better. I'm talking in relation to the Sorceress's boobs, if there was a woman with an equivalent to that (i.e. something bigger than like... H cups?), you know, like that woman who can smash soda cans with her boobs. That stuff is just gross. All those porn stars have big, beautiful ones but they're not to the point where I'm going "Holy mother of god those would kill me" ... LOL maybe that is the way to go though?

Ah, it all comes down to proportion, albeit given the names that I provided, I can appreciate DD+ stuff as long as the rest doesn't translate the entire thing into BBW. Plus, talking about cans, I've got to say that I'm not a fan of fake bewbs.

In the end, I think Sorceress may be my personal favourite because it casts a heavily empowered female with overly embellished bits men in general (and some women) desire most instead of becoming an object of desire to be won over/conquered by a male protagonist.

Yes, video games need more GIGANTIC bouncing bulges and extreme VPL on male characters to even out the sexual allure of characters.

I'm generally not a fan of fake ones either, they usually end up looking freakish, comparing like... Hitomi Tanaka to like .. Sakura Sena. One is natural and the other is freakish and fake. I think Sakura's still aren't big and fake to the point where it grosses me out, but there are women out there with them so big and or fake that it's just gross to me. When it comes to games and anime though, it doesn't really bother me at all.

You're right though, it is all about proportions, but this artist doesn't care about realism or functional bodies/characters. A lot of people have pointed that out, and yet the chivalrous knights keep coming in and saying it's just wrong. Also you're completely right with people desiring more than being an object of desire, IMO.

This game of course looks very pretty, but how fun is it?

Having just come from Gaucamelee, the lack of platforming in this is worrying me (as a fan of twitch-response gameplay).
To those who know a lot about it or played it before on Wii, does it excel in other areas than the drawings?

Pretty unfair to ask them to put in some platforming I guess :p

Don't think I've played a purely beatemup anything since the lame modes in some Tekken games...and before that like Alien Storm. The artwork (despite sauce) looks really appealing..will try and get back into the genre (or not run away from it) when this releases I think.

Guys, I am 100% on the side of Kamitani's artwork being completely acceptable, with exaggeration and caricature applied to all characters relatively equally, in line with his previous work, and that all of the people insulting him and those who like his work as basement dwellers, horny teenagers or worse are being rather immature and intolerant. However all of that said --

Asking for and passing around dick chick pornography of the characters is not helping your case.

Game looks awesome and the sorceres does too. Don't know why but everyone on Joystiqs article of the game were putting the game on blast for the Sorcerese's body. Kinda weird that it's this game over the other hundred ones I can think of are worse.

If you guys are tossing out them futa doujins then you better not just be sending out the Uno Makoto one. Chiba Toshirou did a pretty good Dragon's Crown doujin too =)
