It kinda does, yeah. Not sure what's up with it, as some screenshots have shown that the game can handle large numbers of enemies at long draw distances.

Looking around, Ami definitely seems to be the best price. Even after postage it's $5-$10 cheaper than everywhere else I've checked.

Yeah that sound edition is a must have for a fan like me. The savings jar is a slow building process for this thing. I dont even own a PS3 so its game first, and console next in my case.

It'll take awhile, but both me and my wife are super pumped for this one. She's a Musou fan and this game looks awesome for her and I'm both a musou fan and a Kamen Rider fan so its a dream come true for me.

Sound edition though...God damn it'd be so awesome to play in game to my favorite tracks. My top hoped for tracks are OOOs "Reverse Re:Birth" "Time Judged All" and Infinity Wizard's theme right now.

It's basically just two songs per series, save for Decade (which also gets Decade's instrumental fight theme) and Wizard (which also gets Beast's theme).

So my question now is simple...does it come installed on the disc or does it come with a DLC voucher for those tracks? Also on PS3 can I choose to play music I install to the hardrive during my game without losing sound effects or VA work?

Just trying to figure out what my options are here. Honestly theres about 5 tracks I'd like to rock on that list as I play. Namely Both OOO's Tracks, Kabuto, WBX from Kamen Rider W, and Den O jump.

However, its like $40+ more most places to go for Sound edition and this whole venture involves me saving and buying a console with an extra controller already. If I can play any audio I want already via the PS3 in game or if the audio itself may be out of reach due to vouchers then I can go for the $60-ish normal ass version and play it instead.

The music comes on the disc. As far as custom soundtracks go, the jury is still out on that. There's a screenshot showing the music selection menu, and there's a selection there that says "Custom". But it doesn't necessarily mean that Battride War supports true custom soundtracks, since that would defeat most of the purpose of the PTSE anyway. Also I've seen some speculation that if it DOES support custom soundtracks, it'll only be the PTSE that does. As far as the PTSE content being offered as DLC...that's very unlikely. Again, would defeat the purpose of having an expensive Premium edition. The only DLC we know of right now is Infinity Wizard and Hyper Beast, and an XP Up skill you get if you buy the Kamen Rider Girls' "Go Get 'Em" single. And yes, US PS3 consoles can access the Japanese PS Store. You just have to make a Japanese account. It's not hard. There's instructions on PSNStores.com.

Also I hate to burst your bubble, but...you do know that Battride War is single player only, right? Just hope you weren't too excited to play this co-op with your wife or anything.

I don't even see the need for installers. The music is probably just hardcoded into the game like the standard non-PTSE BGM is.

One of the big things in a musou game is building up your weapons and theres been a lot of various ways its been done. Everything from fusing two weapons to combine traits and get a better weapon, to garbage tier weapons that have a higher possible stat than normal weapons that get better the more you play them. Plus theres always been ability socketing to weapons to gain things like increased attach reach, more damage, stun and other stuff.

If anyone here can lend a hand and help with these we might be able to piece together how leveling and getting stronger works in this game so we dont screw up our builds in the game.

I don't know about the Astro Switches, but as far as W goes, the only playable forms are the "main" forms (Cyclone Joker, Heat Metal, Luna Trigger, Fang Joker, and CJX). The other forms are used in attack strings, but you can't actually switch to them manually.
