Something told me that something like this was going to happen. I'm not mad or even salty or anything, just kinda... deflated. I really dug her, so it's just a total shame it had to come to this. I really can't believe the irresponsibility and shortsightedness of some people, and I'm bummed that it came at the expense of a great character design and concept - one that I personally loved.
Ravid, thanks for giving it to us straight. And thanks for trying despite Cee's lack of better judgment and his immaturity within the community.
Rest in peace, Juju. There'll always be Annie and Dahlia.

Last straw. Confidentially agreement was presumably to prevent braggery, so when he went ahead and bragged that's the contract broken. And, frankly, if you can't follow an order as simple as "shut up", then you're probably not worth dealing with.

The breach of confidentiality means that the contract between them and LZ is void. That means the entire process has to begin all over again. It isn't worth hours upon hours of Ravidrath's time to get this sorted if the partner in the contract is simply not capable of keeping their word.
I'm not a lawyer, but from my limited experience in the game industry, NDAs and confidentiality are usually to prevent massive headaches.
Skullgirls' value is 95% IP, remember. The fact that it's a great property is why it didn't disappear off of the face of the earth when Reverge fired the entire dev team. If LZ don't have a 100% watertight right to Juju, bad things would happen if they ever utilise her in any way.

Contract presumably transferred ownership of Juju to L0.
s/he broke the contract.
So L0 has to acknowledge that they don't own Juju, and the fact that s/he broke it for a really trivial reason is good enough reason for them not to want to bother trying again after all this time.
Presumably, the reason why this is even an issue in the first place is that s/he either had trouble agreeing to said contract or wanted some form of recognition/compensation for giving the rights back. That's speculation, but I can't think of any other reason why this has been a thing for as long as it has been.
I liked Juju, but good riddance to dealing with Cee.
No, she died in a gutter, alone, because someone couldn't keep their mouth shut they exposed her location and then the Medici sicked B.Dahlia on her.
All the celebration thing shows is he broke the agreement right after agreeing to it, so it does seem like a sign any agreement with him can't last long. Combined with the fact the agreement was apparently hard to reach it's easy to see why they wouldn't go on with the whole thing.

HAPPIER NEWS TIME.
I have re-fallen in love with this game's art style after getting around to buying this really awesome 21.5" screen I saw in Tesco. I've only ever played SG on my 19" displays, which are really small when you get down to it.
It just looks so much nicer on a large screen. Cannot wait to 1080p this up too.

How about a sniper character that is actually a ghostly parasite that takes over a host and uses them as disposable shields for their sniping? Have the Egrets use it as a secret weapon - an amazing sniper you can never truly kill. Make it keep track of each victim, so it refers to itself as Number 14.
You could have it be a really evil-looking sniper which is visibly infected by a parasite. You could even give it a parasitic gun which morphs into other weapons to defend itself with, kinda like how Tyranids in Warhammer 40,000 have guns that are fused with their bodies. So rather than just being able to work long-range, it could morph to shoot spines at medium distance like grapeshot, for example.
Unfortunately, as per GAF's T&Cs the above is now technically the property of Evilore.

There is something that has been itching at the back of my mind for a few days now. Would it be crazy to ask if we might see merchandise of the DLC characters down the road?
It'll probably be a while before we see even the most popular characters in the game, but some people would probably shell out big bucks for Dahlia, Isaac and Annie shirts or even team shirts(Starwulf, Peacock/Marie and so on). Of course, this is something that would happen months down the road if at all.

By the way, to everyone that still posts in this thread you can literally talk about the same exact things in the Skullgirls OT. I don't understand why so many of you seem to be avoiding it like the plague. Is there some sort Community section stigma? Because all you have to do is subscribe to it to solve that.
