Look at the gifs in the OP. You can see there's a small segment on the back of her neck through which hair extends.

what if the reason Jean was killed was that Bayo did die in Bayonetta 1 but was brought back
the demons say its time to collect(her soul) Jean grows out her hair and Bayo cuts it short and the Demons(evil red hell hands) are idiots so they think Jean is Bayo
seems plausible
thus we have to journey to Hell itself to save Jean

Played it at E3 today and wow, very impressed. 95% of the trailer was the E3 demo. The graphics looked sharp (only exception was the shadows on Bayo's face looking dithered in a cutscene close up), the combat/gameplay is tight as ever and can't comment on music/sounds because the volume was too low and got drowned out by the noise on the show floor.
Tried to platinum the demo but got two golds and one silver. The wait to 2014 is gonna be a long and tortuous one.

Game looks overall more shiny like what Nintendo uses for their newer Mario games. Really curios if her demons are revolting or something like that. Bayo definitely got some Lumensage powers and her guns are blue. Lumensage color is blue isn't it?

Basically as you perform regular hits, it builds up the meter (circles) below your health bar and once you max it out, you hit the L button to activate it for a limited time and every attack has Bayo using the special umbra attacks where the giant fists and boots come out.

Well her Angel Wings suggest it's more than that, she seems to speed up as well.

I was able to switch to a second set of weapons in the E3 demo and it was Kulshedra (whip) for both hands and feet. It was especially cool when you split enemies in half!
New whips you can equip on your legs and twin katanas have been shown.

The only obvious things was that you can use something similar to Kulshedra (not as much of a whip though, it seems) on her feet and dual swords iirc. Sergey's Lover is confirmed, also.
Pretty sure wicked weave will play a more prominent role, since P* spoke about having alot more huge scale battles than before.
I think she has some new Infernal Demons too. The thing that killed the monster during the skyscraper boss fight was not Gomorrah.

Also I want brass knuckle boomerangs to go with my tonfa/bazooka - gun/nunchaku - staff/whip -sai/grapple hook combination.
Okay so I borrowed a couple of Raiden, I mean Mistral/Monsoon weapons so what.
I'd like talons or claws like Ninja Gaiden too and more Platinum weird weapon combinations.
I better still be able to roll while holding a charged attack.
One last thing...anyone here think there is a place for ranged weapons in Bayonetta like a bow/arrow?
I could probably picture ranged weapons in Rising:Revengeance 2 for sure.

They're doing it right. I don't see how cutting her hair makes her any less visibly and clearly a woman. Women don't all have long hair.
