Man the offspring fling cards are pretty worthless. The question is should I wait and hope the price goes up a bit or just sell them quickly before the beta ends.

Well, I just cleared out most of my wishlist and it's now limited to stuff I actually want and is ordered, an improvement I feel :p.

Personally I go back and forth. I go through the whole catalogue and swell up my wishlist with stuff that catches my eye, then I wait a little while, then something goes on 75% off say and I'm like "I wouldn't buy that" and I realize my wishlist is filled with stuff I don't even want and shed down.

Right now it's a little bloated because with the Xbox One and PS4 not having BC I added all the games I own on Xbox 360/PS3 that I could remotely ever want to replay and don't own on Steam.

You know, I've decided to sell all my dupes and keep the rest. I may be losing a couple of euros, but since it seems that cards will be the meta-game during the Summer sale there's a slim chance they'll be worth more once it starts (or maybe you'll be able to get free games when you craft a set like during the 2011 Winter Sale...)

Now that I think about it, this makes it much harder to abuse the system with multiple accounts. You can still buy an entire set of cards off the market, but if you could get games out of this I'd wager that cards prices would skyrocket. On the other hand, actually owning games benefits you since you can get up to half the set without trading nor spending money.

Maybe that would be too good to be true, I'd settle for free DLC like in Summer 2011 (or was it 2010?). I just don't want another sucky sale, Valve :(

the Go Home Dinosaurs cards were selling for something like 0.3 when it went on sale.
I waited a few days and now they are around 0.5/0.7...
I think you should wait a little.

Always wait. The demand doesn't kick in for a couple days.

That was one of the first things I did when I fully switched over to PC gaming.

Ohhh... I just got my first booster pack out of nowhere lol... It's the FTL one... Looking at the prices, I imagine I'm better off selling the whole pack instead of unpacking it?

But what if you get a foil!

Is it just me with 92 cards and no foils? :S

"Dear Gabe,

look at how much depressed I'm now (ok, it's not entirely your fault). You should hire me lifelong as a pixel artist (oldstyle flavour) for repentance. Deal?

Sincerely yours,
Hinomura"

Back to thread, anyone else noticed the "Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Ultimate Edition" page?
It says: "release on 27th August", but no price and no pre-order / buy button (checked it / us / uk stores).

Pretty sure you shouldn't have to worry about either.

First question: No, you'll have no problems playing your games.

Second question: The only tip for offline mode is to make sure you shut down Steam manually. I'm not sure if this is still a problem, but many people found that letting Windows shut down the process during normal shut-down actually messed with the files that were responsible for allowing you to start in offline.

many thanks for replying.

so, interested on that Get Loaded deal, mostly because of Dishonored, but no sure about the other game i should get. Already have New Vegas, not the complete edition though.

I'm not even into Halo but I'd totally purchase one just to mess around in and say, "Hey. This. Good job."

Wonder if ODST and Reach will follow?

It would be a shame if they didn't bring ODST over as well. Firefight would be perfect for PC.

At the very least, I wish we could get Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 on Steam. Maybe 3 and beyond are just a pipe dream, but come on MS, 1 & 2 already have PC ports.
