I'm looking for some good lightweight (possibly microfiber?) pants to wear at work. I'm right by a window so my area gets really hot during the summer even with airconditioning. They don't need to be super dressy, just need to be able to go with a polo so not like workout pants.

Anyone have the scoop?
what kind of price range are you looking at?

that said, I generally find tropical wool and stretchy cotton (say 95% cotton / 5% spandex) to be really comfortable in summer hell weather.

(i hate microfiber)
how about seersucker or other thin cotton pants. or linen!

Snuck in just in time before the ssense sale ended and bought this MMM shirt.

I'm ready for August.
damn. makes me jealous

all i got was a rather boring pattern print using flowers that look like polka dot pattern from far away

I'm sure this gets asked a bit but what are you guys wearing cologne wise? I'm looking to get one for when I go out mostly.

I tried two I liked, yves saint laurent and a newer one spicebomb. Spicebomb is pretty unique, kind of sweet.

right now i'm alternating between paul smith extreme, terre d'hermes and armani mania

Chanel Platinum Egoiste, Bond No. 9 Hamptons and Viktor & Rolf Antidote are all solids for going out in my opinion. When I want something stronger I sometimes use Thierry Mugler's A*Men Pure Malt.

I know there's a watch thread, I'm saying we shouldn't outlaw watch discussion in this thread because watches are a fashion accessory and comprise a part of your outfit.

I have a shirt with a picture of a watch on it, but now I don't know which thread to discuss it in.

Which thread? WHICH THREAD WHICH THREAD?!

dont worry, no one is really ever serious in this thread.
Still, my apologies. Also, you seem to be rather jacked up on fashion so I may as well ask you along with the rest of the thread: Where in America/Europe do you do your online shopping? List as many stores as possible. Fingers crossed that I'm about to land a pretty sweet deal where I get a wardrobe allowance so I'll spend outside of my country. All recommendations welcome!

For online:

J Crew - There's always something on sale and everything is generally great.
Nordstrom - but I don't think I'll ever buy another dress shirt from there again. The collars are huge on the 2 dress shirts I got.
Uniqlo - packages come with pre-printed return label sticker or you can go to the store (none in my state though). Their XS (34) seems huge though.
Zara - return label and 2 stores in state, XS is perfect for me with some of their Smalls also fitting me great.
Etsy - Pocket squares!

I tried Indochino once and... let's just say that was the fastest I've ever printed out a return form in my life. It's like they shipped me a jacket meant for a hobbit with a barrel chest but sleeves that were maybe 2-3 inches too short. The pants were PERFECT though.

yoox ships to south africa and europe, though I don't know if you pay through the nose on customs etc. They have a pretty good spread of cheap to expensive stuff. It's pretty much my #1 go-to. TheCorner is the same company just current-season and higher-end.

other cool eu stores are wrong weather, tres bien shop, black celebration, asos, and farfetch

us-side we have opening ceremony, creatures of comfort, acrimony san francisco, mr porter, asos again, totokaelo, south willard

these are the ones I obsessively and manically check on for sales/new drops anyway. there are a ton of great stores I'm omitting.

maybe for the next thread we can prepare a giant ass list with flag markers so people can get an idea who ships from what to where.

Thanks for this suggestion, sir. I need to try and gauge my sizes right before I go ahead and by anything of substance. I wish I got half of these stores in my country. It sucks.

Thanks for this, Mac. I'll take a look at the Yoox store that ships here. Generally, my country charge around 28% import tax if the product is also manufactured locally. There's ways around it though. Legal ones, of course. Also, if we ever need some OP-art for a new thread I'd be happy to do some. I like that kinda stuff.
