Out of curiosity, how many of you guys use wheels and how many use controllers?

Wheel.
A very expensive wheel.
A very expensive wheel that will probably soon be obsolete for no good reason whatsoever.
I used a controller for most of the time in Forza.
But I had a Mad Catz and then a Microsoft wheel for playing with Forza. Fun, but never really felt that great to me.
Also had a Driving Force GT that I used back with GT3 and GT4 and then with rFactor and GTR2.
My 360 wheels broke and the Logitech got sold before I moved here.
I'll be getting a G27 at some point for my new PC, but I'm not happy with the current state of racing sims.
well i am as good at forza as you can be with a gamepad yes, i am better at PC sims and GT due to using a wheel, i look forward to playing forza 5 when i eventually get an xbox one.
this will actually be the first forza since 2 that i wont buy day one
I can't wait to race you.
Welcome back man, haven't seen you in a while.

Damn Forza got alot edgier since the 360 days!

I highly doubt that the corkscrew is deeper since the track hasn't been updated and the corkscrew itself it's still wrong. The track still has the old media center (the new one was made far from the track to widen the runoff in the main straight), old climb to the corkscrew (it was widened as well so now the left wall is far from the track), and it's missing the spinning Mazda logo on top of the scoreboard, and those red things on the inside of the kerbs. Oh, and these changes were made when MotoGP started racing there, so it's not something recent that they couldn't do in time, the track should have been updated for Forza 4 already. Finally SPA!! such a great track and its great that all tracks are going to be laser scanned, Laguna Seca corkscrew looks quite more deep now.!
San Diego – August 21, 2013 – Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (“Mad Catz” (NYSE MKT: MCZ) announced today the Force Feedback Racing Wheel, a premium quality racing game controller for the Xbox One console.
Designed to offer a highly authentic gaming experience, the genuine suede leather steering wheel houses a raft of technology, such as twin next generation Force Feedback motors and a luxury CNC anodized aluminum wheel face which can be removed from the wheel base should gamers wish to replace or upgrade in the future.
Ideal for use with software such as Forza Motorsport® 5, the Force Feedback Racing Wheel ships with a fully adjustable Pedal Set, allowing gamers to adjust the spring resistance, height and spacing on the gas and brake pedals.
doesnt matter, after this wheel fiasco I aint buying another xbox wheel ever again.Eugh no, from the blurry photo before the wheel looked far higher quality.
No clutch either, just wow.
Using the clutch on my Clubsports is AWESOME in Forza 4.
Why the hell would they spec the official wheels for Xbone WITHOUT clutches?
Microsoft are fucking CLUELESS. I'm starting to think there's not a single gamer in the Xbox division anymore.
I'd say yes.Has FordGTGuy been permabanned?
$399 lol... how much is the T500? The prototype was way bigger and had 3 pedals.
I can't wait to race you.
Guys, the pad and the wheel are pretty much 1:1 in terms of laptimes in Forza. The only situation the wheel has a slight advantage in would be in certain FWD cars or on tracks like Maple Valley, where smoothness is key. Even then, the vast majority of #1 times in all of the Forza have been with the gamepad.
Claiming that you're 'the best you can be with the pad' when you're not #1 on almost every leaderboard shows that you either don't play Forza much or are being purposely disingenuous.
Considering how well done the clutch support Forza has, you'd think their official wheel had one...
I'd say yes.

the best I can be with a pad, better? i suck compared to using a wheel is what i meant
Bwhaha. That guy was the epitome of a warrior. Sour grapes and logic ineptitude galore!
I personally had suspicions he was a shill at one point. I mean, we all have preferences, but when he started "only on xbox"ing people's avatars without them even asking for it...I mean... Who does that?

Shill? Nah he just really loved Xbox. I think he was only sarcastically only on Xboxing avatars of those dissing Xbox/MS in those threads. Helped everyone else get sorted though.Bwhaha. That guy was the epitome of a warrior. Sour grapes and logic ineptitude galore!

He trolled GT at every chance he got. He's not just a Forza fan.Shill? Nah he just really loved Xbox. I think he was only sarcastically only on Xboxing avatars of those dissing Xbox/MS in those threads. Helped everyone else get sorted though.

Nah, he was avatarsing random people who merely entered the thread to make any odd post. That kind of effort is particularly rare.
But anyway, OT.

I don't know why people keep claiming that Forza fans aren't vocal. We've lost our voices as a result of being vocal. We've pleaded and begged for years. Where does this "not vocal enough" come from, really?
I'm guessing you're good 'ol Nibsy from back in the IGN days? Granted, things could have changed.
I think this is obvious to anybody who is not a console warrior. (which is so passe btw)That's what I've been loving about the Forza community, and why I keep reading Forza threads; There's very little attitude and hidden agendas, and not the least room for criticism.

Just to give a very good example, all people that play forza and talk about it here,
we could not touch upon even a single thing that forza has to discuss/criticize, and just keep it at the (merry) level of:
<<hey, you know what? xbox is the inferior platform, yet forza beats the living hell out of sony's game, which has plastic cars, not even 30 frames locked, microstutter, tearing, shit sound, shit animation, shit damage, shit lighting, shit reflections, shit shadows and drives like shit>>
I have never seen even ONE post like this from the forza guys i know. and basically, I dont even expect to see one ever, at least from those guys.
