It's in reference to refined metal etc.
So 1 refined = 1 refined
1 scrap metal = .11 refined
1 reclaimed = .33 refined
No, its metal, which you can trade for keys if you have enough. I haven't traded in 6 months or so and I don't remember exactly how it breaks down.
The whole number refers to refined, and the decimal points refer to reclaimed. 3 reclaimed makes a refined, so 1.33 means 1 refined and 1 reclaimed (or 1 refined and 3 scrap).
so what should I ask for it? or just I gave him to them just so I couldn't had to see him again
Remove friend and block him, or ask for 1.66 (1 refined + 2 reclaimed).
If, at any point, you think he doesn't have the correct amount in the trade window, back out and ask me.

Still considering if I should buy the first Witcher. Already have it on GOG and I'm a pretty big fan, but the main reason to buy it would be completion and ease of access on one platform.

Played trough Guacamelee.
Great game. But those platforming parts were like hell sometimes.

Ok so drops can be reset.
I played RE6 and got all the drops made a badge and drops were available again. No clue why either. Personally I think drops should be available for every badge even if its less every time
Man, I wish I had the same bug(?), none of my games are showing drops...
I can't do that. I like playing franchises in release order, unless I'm totally not having fun or disliking the game a lot. And even then, I don't feel conpletely fine with skipping the game.
I'll give this a chance, with the full knowledge that it may suck.

Man, Steam sure wants people to purchase Fairie Solitaire. Whilst crafting badges I got a 66%, 75% and 90% of coupon for this game...
Can't say these deals are wowing me, though I suppose € 0,40 for Fairie Solitaire isn't bad if you're into that kind of game.

Invisible War is one of those rare games like DMC2 where everyone agrees it was pretty bad.
Similar to DMC they made the next game (Deus Ex Human Revolution) a prequel so storywise you're fine skipping IW as well.
I guess I understand giving it a try purely out of curiosity, but if you play IW and you're not feeling it you might as well skip it.
Dunno, I sort of liked it when I played it at release.
I mean, yes, it suffered from design choices and the first ugly rearing of lolconsoles memory and polygon budgets, but it's not a bad game. It's an indifferent game, but there's a big difference between an 'eh' game and a 'holy fuck what the shit is this burn it with fire' game in my book.
Agreed. DX: IW wasn't a bad game. It just wasn't a very good Deus Ex game. And when your game's supposed to be a sequel to one of the greatest games of all time, it's going to be judged that much more harshly.
I see... hmm. Probably won't worry about it the, base game here i come.

I keep getting an issue where my download speed drops to 0kb/s after a few seconds of downloading.
I've tried deleting recommended files and folders in the Steam dir. Ive changed download regions multiple times but still it persists.
Ive googled the problem and nothing seems to work. Has anyone had this issue?

Are you using wireless internet? Does it start back up again automatically?

Yes. My internet doesn't drop though. It starts again after a random interval of time. Almost like its a P2P transfer.
This happens ALL the time with DOTA2 updates. But some games I can download without problem. Im trying this with PayDay2.
Ok just tried installing Psychonauts. Im downloading at full speed without the drops. What the hell? I switch back to downloading PayDay and I get the drops.

I finally got around to playing through Botanicula, and jeez that game is wonderful. Amanita is so good at making happy things. Don't know why I waited so long to play it, but I'm super glad I did. It's not terribly long, so if anyone just picked it up in the Humble Bundle, or if you've just been waiting to play it, I highly recommend you do.
Now to wait for Samorost 3...

I'd jump in but I'm not touching these until Capcom lays out what they plan to do regarding GFWL. Not being able to play the co-op in LP2 would be sucky.
I enjoyed the RPG. Awful graphics and a really average combat system, but a really interesting story.

I'm debating on getting Steelseries Siberia v2. They're fairly cheap and I've heard they're really good, at least for their price range. Either that or waiting a little longer and getting some Sennheiser PC363Ds

So I'm now in the Demon Ruins and everything's fine (I like how posted about progress in DS sounds like a journal from a torturous journey) but I just wanted to share what happened against
I don't know if me sharing my progress in the game is something that's okay in this thread? It's light discussion and I enjoy talking about it but it's not strictly Steam-related and it isn't any kind of PSA either so I would get it if it annoyed people.
So I'm now in the Demon Ruins and everything's fine (I like how posted about progress in DS sounds like a journal from a torturous journey) but I just wanted to share what happened against

So as I entered the Boss room, since there is no fog I was super surprised to see him arrive out of nowhere, and I wasn't prepared to die at all. I had a good amount of souls and only a few flasks left... And since I'd seen all the stone bodies I was assuming that the white mist was the thing that caused curses and I was meant to stick to the small path in the middle.
Anyway, Seath appeared, and I freaked out, and I basically went berserk on him - staying super close while trying to stay out of that white mist. Apparently most of his attacks can't hit you if you're too close, or maybe I was just lucky, because I destroyed him. He hit me once.
The thing is, when I talked about it with a friend later on he told me about cutting off the tail which I obviously didn't do but that's no big deal, and also about how you're supposed to break the crystal to be able to defeat him, which... I didn't do either? So, what happened - is my damage output abnormally high? Or is this a thing that happens, people killing Seath without bothering with the crystal? Maybe he broke it himself. I dunno. For reference, I'm SL83 and in the Demon Ruins I am now two-shotting the Capra Demons (which makes me realize how puny I was when I met the first one.) And the Ceaseless Discharge was no problem either. Is it weird? I'm not a particularly good player either...
