Well they stayed true to their claims for keeping fans up to date more, old Square Enix I could see that being true, but I think they will try to at least give us more details in some form.

I don't expect a release date, but I think we could get some new stuff. 3 months since E3 does give them some time, perhaps even an extended trailer would be good.

Drakengard 3 and KH is literally the only thing I care for in terms of SE. FFXV looks really bad, DQX isn't coming stateside, etc.

Just waiting for Lightning to be in the next KH3 trailer because lord knows SE forgot about XII and Balthier won't be in my dream FFXII/Treasure Planet crossover world ; A;

FFXV is not early at all. It's got years of pre-/early development under it and they've been working on the game with a full team for about 2 years, 1-1,5 years of which is on next-gen.

KHIII is in an earlier stage, they've started the project about 1+ year ago after they finished Dream Drop Distance.

They might new trailers here, but I get the funny feeling we're still a couple of years away from seeing anything actually playable from either title.

Uhhh, we got a gameplay trailer at E3 that showed a pretty good first glimpse at the game's combat.

I'm really looking forward to Drakengard 3 as well, but I don't care if it'll be on TGS or not, I want it to be confirmed to the west, I don't need to see any more footage to know I want it, please let me buy it S-E.

Square has something to prove. They need to show new footage and drop the antiquated idea that the world is still segregated and maybe Japanese fans haven't seen the E3 footage yet.

guarantee kh3 is just a cg trailer or something. there's no way that game is anywhere near done(or even really in full development)

If you like KH's action battle system, I don't see how you would dislike that of XV, since they are quite similar to one another.

Graphics? Sure. Art direction and gameplay? Nah. (Granted both games have shown very little gameplay.)

Depends how they do it. Considering KH's action system is focused on one individual character, I'm worried how much they'll stretch the game to make it easy to use when managing parties.

Why wouldn't KH3 be in full development? It's not like the team doing it has better things to do (well exept small team working on the second HD collection).

The KH3 probably will be an extended trailer, let's hope they show Riku and Kairi, can't wait to see how they look with the Kingdom Shader.

I remembered reading around E3 time that the FFXV trailer was mostly "target" footage with some in game mixed in (KH3 was obviously 100% target render). After hearing that I was convinced it'd be years before these titles would see the light of day. Was I jumping the gun or is there a realistic chance we might see FFXV at least in year 2 of next gen?

Given S-E's history with these things, I'm sure you can understand the scepticism.

The first trailer was the target footage, they then showed a gameplay trailer which I believe was all actual gameplay. There's no reason to believe the game won't be released winter 2014.

Nomura has already detailed the game's development, it's shift onto next-gen and whatnot. The game is in full production.

It's an assumption, but not one that is too far off.

The script and general character designs were mostly done since 3 years ago, and with the recent interview with Nomura stating that they are looking to bring the game out asap is a good indication that the development is already far into the cycle.

What I think the team is currently focusing on is the fleshing out of the story details, dialogue lines, updates to the gameplay and world design, improvement to the lightings and camera, and polish. I believe the game should be completed by end of 2014.

Not expecting much here. I feel like it's going to be a good 2 years before we're actually playing these games so it's hard to be excited.

Would love to see Riku in their next trailer. Currently going through DDD and Sora is just keeps getting annoying each game. Riku, keeps getting better. I guess it's like Riku said, Sora always has that damn grin on his face.

Totally anticipating this. Or at least much more focus on exploration and the massive world that this game boasts. Especially with all the weird backlash about the E3 trailer being too 'cinematic' considering that every single FF since the PS1 days has had trailers like that.

I expect a new KH3 trailer, but I don't expect any game-play, or any real time stuff for that matter. It's super early in development, from the looks of it, so I expect another "this is what we want to do with this game" type of pre-rendered teases.

That's rad. I expected both to disappear after their E3 unveilings for a good long while, so I'm glad to see that's not a case. Fingers crossed for XV - I just want any reason to fall in love with Final Fantasy again.
