Dude, something similar happened to me. I registered on 2009, been logging in since that day, but was never approved. The problem was that I never entered the moderation queue because I never got the confirmation email (and there was no way for me of knowing that or trying to send another one). I sent a yearly email to Neogaf, with no reply.
But this year, I got my reply I never entered the queue which means I could never get approved or rejected. Also I had registered with my own domain email, which isn't allowed. Well the language in the ToS back in the day wasn't that clear about that, in fact since this year it is explicitly mentioned that personal accounts are forbidden.
The solution was to re-apply again, so they deleted my old account (something with id 64xxx) and I registered with my employer's email account. Got approved in a day, with a gigantic user id.

This is so ridiculous. Evil Lore contacts Major Nelson on Twitter, Says NEOGAF is not trying to actively block him, and asks for him to DM him the username and email he used when trying to sign up for NEOGAF.
Major Nelson responds to Evil Lore that he will DM him those details, after Evil Lore follows him on twitter. No smiley face, no jk.

Spam protection from Twitter requires both parties to follow each other before they can direct message. I deal with this issue every day.
Because that's how Twitter works? You can only DM someone who follows you to prevent spamming.
At least do a Google search before you say something is bullshit.

The Wii U will probably be at 5-6m by the end of the year. It'd probably be hard for Sony to even manufacture that many consoles in that window of time.
I don't know Wii U worldwide ltd, but from the current UK situation the PS4 UK ltd will probably go past Wii U's UK ltd on day one in my opinion.

My biggest worry would be, wont it scare off our most adored posters, Cboat, thruway etc, there are even a few connections on the developer teams here, now potentially their bosses are gonna be posting....off putting??

Well we now have developers openly saying everyone they talk to say it's a 50% speed difference between consoles, so the Xbox One secret sauce must be incredible to go from a 30% deficit to 50% advantage.
Exactly... Microsoft just has to prove this... open some more first party studios and show some direction and I will happily buy their console, until they do, for me its an entertament machine with 40% less power (because they went with kinect) and Sony has the game studios, these are just some of the reasons but, show us the goods Microsoft and you may sit beside my future ps4

Not everyone attacked him. You can go back to the threads where he posted and not everyone attacked him and instead offered actual arguments that he didn't even bother to reply.
What bothers me more is that people won't like members to counter argument him, but instead will accept arguments that are dubious with "Time for SonyGAF to eat crow", "Albert states the truthfacts", while he doesn't even give any evidence for his claims (or simply states things that are not be true). It's no better than some banned users trying to pass as insiders have done.
