So how is it being tweaked? Only explanation is the it is on the software side, which would simply go down to changing a couple of numbers in the source code and running a new build?

If it is on the hardware side, it can't be tweaked

Hi Major Nelson,

I'm curious, when will we get a full demo of the OS TV features for the Xbox one? Are the features "locked in" or are they continuing to expand? Should we expect any major surprises regarding these features before launch?

I'm surprised you are even discussing this. Major Nelson deserves at least a tinge of respect as he posts, like everyone else here. Posters need to stop attacking him as if he is damaging their livelihood by doing what is his job.

Now, My only question to Major is this: RE: Clans, groups, etc

Is it possible to add yourself or be added to a group for interacting and playing with gamers of similar interests or background? Without having to add every single user one-by-one

Im down for a GAF clan

I feel that comment is a bit directed at me and others judging by your previous one towards me.

I'm pretty sure your "mature" view on gaming and consoles is that "who cares about the consoles they're on. If a game's good you play it despite being on console X or Y".

It's the same argument every single "mature" gamer everywhere uses.

Thing is, I don't buy it. I'm not some mindless animal who forgives and forgets anything that was about to be done to him just because of some shiny new object.

All companies, be them Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo, want the same from us. They want our money. They do not care if we're happy. They do not care if we like something. They want our money.

Thing is, I as a rational human being, am capable of discerning which of those companies deserves my money more.

And right now, it's certainly not Microsoft. I do not support a company whose PR mouths view us as complete idiots devoid of any information and use words like "have you seen titanfall?" to justify their current draconian policies on their product.
I do not support a company which sends e-mails to people portraying their system as the one system designed for them from day one which highlights every single 180 policy they did as a day oen policy designed for us.
I do not support a company whose support for their current console on the market ends with the arrival of the new one.

Major got a few things:

When you do your video on the dashboard, can you show us the code scanning that Kinect can do? I mean I know the (obvious) basics of how it works but I would like to see it in action, how long it takes etc. Like a demo redemption or even pre-order bonus or whatever. Nothing mind-blowing but still.

If you could show multi-tasking between switching from say a game in the disc drive to Skype/Netflix (whatever) then perhaps a game on the hard drive to see how it all works? Switching between different apps/games is more what I'm getting at here.

Finally putting a disc into the console for the first time and playing before its fully finished installing (or a game downloaded off the marketplace)

and people flaunt how 360 sold so much more than PS3... add RROD and if we could do accurate numbers and math i think PS3 would end up selling more units than 360.

It has been revealed that Pizza Hut will have their own XBOX LIVE app for ordering. Are you guys looking into expanding to Papa Johns and Dominos territory as well? There is already precedence for collaboration between MS and you guys.

Are there any upcoming videos/demos/walkthroughs of the UI, Kinect, and 2nd screen integration for the launch lineup games? We haven't seen much on how these features may be implemented into the November releases.

it´s part of the cycle, three or four years from now one of the two consoles will be a clear winner and people will start to focus on criticizing games rather than consoles.
but the next two years will be hard for the fans of the console that will get behind on sales
(probably x1).
