I may have only been on GAF a relatively short time, but I've seen you post plenty. I'm not taking the piss, but I don't recall you ever being so positive about a game in that time.

You're reaffirming my confidence that GTA V will be really good.

That says more about this generation of games than me :p

What happened guys?

Radio 1. That's fairly legitimate radio.

The last radio show I heard him on, he was talking about drug use, and tattoo's. Gang members and prison. To be talking about GTA V on BBC Radio 1 is almost surreal.
.

I didn't think about it that way, but you're right, I guess it is quite different from his normal thing haha.

Hahah. Yeah I hated Neeeeko. So glad to be going back to San Andreas.

I remember when I first started playing IV, I thought Niko and Roman were two of the most ridiculous characters I'd ever seen, reminded me of "Two Wild and Crayzee Guyz" from SNL. But by the time I finished the game, they had become two of my favorite GTA characters ever. Yep, Roman too.

For what it's worth I reached out to Rockstar PR today and asked about the arrival of review copies, and they stated review product arrives Friday in their offices and expect to ship out to reviewers that same day OR Monday, and all copies should arrive on Tuesday (release day). In the past--like with RDR and LA Noir--review copies arrived almost a week before release.

I think it's safe to say with GTAV they're being more cautious with the little guys (like me!), but that doesn't mean the big sites like Polygon, IGN, and Game Informer aren't playing the game for review right now. In fact, I would bet on it--just not retail copies--but on dev machines.

Good. GOOOD. Roman is the heart and soul of that game.

Yeah I bet Jim Sterling is playing it right now!! ;)

Sucks for the smaller reviewers though!

That's not really the manual in the OT, is it?

If not, amazing job!

Edit: Phenomenal OP! This should be considered advertising, Rockstar should pay you up, OP haha

The wait is unbearable guys. It's like Christmas when I was four years old.
Blacklist, Diablo 3 and replaying God of War 3 is tiding me over til then.

I was fighting it at first but current gen is still firing on all cylinders so I'm pretty much lost in a haze of gaming bliss as of late. GTA V next week, with GTA online two weeks later, then Beyond Two Souls, next gen launches (*snooze*) and GT6 on the horizon. Hot fucking damn its almost too much.

Almost...

I don't get it, what's the joke?

Just the matter-of-fact way you said "I didn't actually want to speak to him" made me laugh.

As if Jim was being bothered by the attention, you just wanted to remind him you didn't actually want to speak to him.

...

Never mind. Uh ... seven more miserable days.

Some pirate group has the game now. They said that second disk has some new type of protection, so they can't leak it right now, but they are working on it, leaks incoming.
