The Last of Us 2 better be fucking awesome.
They better not make The Last of Us 2.
Move on to new IP or Uncharted sequel (I guess :/ )

i hear bish coming.
I'm still scared as hell.....Naughty Dog are the only developer that lights my underwear on fire when I think about them.
Combine that with the PS4 blowing my pants off...
Sony really want Naughty Dog to remain exclusive.
are dev kits bigger? because it should be two per box which would mean 250 kits.
That would the one of the few ways how ND could disappoint me. MMO or facebook gameThey're making a MMO aren't they
Or something something persistent online world
While The Last Of Us 2 would be great....Jak & Daxter game, open world, that's similar to the first J&D game? YES!
That is basically pocket change compared to development costs, right?

Hire this man! (also a n Uncharted along similarly fleshed out lines would also be fantastic, I gotta admit if ND'd next gen is super linear again I'll be a tad disappointed they didn't venture forth and conquer non-linear like they have with strictly-linear)Open world TLoU MMO with a heavy focus on PVP for supplies, safe houses, with a loose story system surviving against infected while you search for a potential cure/the last surviving groups of human civilization.
Options for gaining companions to help in keeping you and your group alive. Join up with other survivors to even the odds against other scavengers, hostile hunters, and infected in sprawling cities reclaimed by nature. Includes an updated crafting system, a barter system, and the option to go renegade and become a hunter yourself.
Persistent world moves even when you aren't logged in. Safe houses help keep you safe during downtime, but going it in the wilderness could mean simply losing supplies or becoming infected yourself.
I'm really thinking it could be something like Day-Z, but much much bigger and in the TLoU universe.
What´s this Starlight thing that a lot of people are mentioning?
It's from a collection of comics found throughout The Last of Us.
Nobody's worried they receive that just now... ?

That seems like... an awful lot. I would figure one for every developer, a handful for Q/A, and then a few more for redundancy since accidents happen and hardware dies. Unless they have artists and designers compiling the game too, this seems like excess to me. Hmmm.

Does anybody know how many devkits is normal for an AAA developer to have? 120 seems like a lot to me!
Not if it speeds up development or QA testing by an order of magnitude.
Start drooling, GAF
Looks like Sony can produce quite a few dev kits.
Even if these Dev Kits cost full retail (400$) they still wouldn't add up to the annual salary of one programmer.
Isn't it said that one dev kit cost around $2500?
