Can anyone please confirm if you have to go back to the business to get your rent or whatever or is it automatically deposited into your account? Curious if the hanger is getting money for Trevor or not.
.

im pretty sure i got an email earlier today saying i got money transferred into my account for the helipad i bought, but I havnt had any similar messages for trevor and the hanger which ive bought as well.

Would like some confirmation on this as well

One thing I miss so much from GTA4 are the chopper controls. My God! They are awful in GTA5. In fact awful is gross understatement. Whoever thought it was a good idea should be taken out and shot. Just awful awful. I was dying to fly the frogger but that sit flee like a kite; I can't imagine how awful the buzzard will be since that one was already terrible in 4.

What's wrong with them, and how are they different from IV (been too long since I played that game to remember)? I haven't really had any issues.

I'd like a quick toggle for southpaw controls. Driving around with only your right hand drinking a beer with your left... can brake too while doing it with R1. :))

So far I'd say V is a worthy apprentice to SA. The game doesn't surpass the master though, but it's by far the best open world game of this gen.

Okay, stupid question: the game (PS3) would tell me if I had too little hard disk space available to install, no? Because I could have sworn my HDD was full, and I kinda don't want to abort the installation progress :/

Doesn't matter anymore. LETS DO THIS

If someone ever does figure out how to choose a response to text messages and e-mails, that shit should be sticked at the top of the first post. Jesus. I've pressed like every button on the controller, nothing happens.

I feel like that's offset by the wanted level system lasting 17 hours in this game. I can't believe how long it takes to get rid of a single star.

I don't feel that difficult to escape from the "wanted" condition. The "searching" condition lasts a lot, but is not that difficult.

Businesses pay out weekly and you get an email from your financial institution that breaks down your earnings from each business.

I'm okay with the fact that businesses can only be bought by certain characters, but is there a way to tell which business is available for which character?

It's disappointing to travel across the map only to find you're playing as the wrong guy. I assume all the really expensive ones are just for M and it seems the car-related businesses are for Franklin.

Ever since i had to show up in a suit to that one mission about planning the heist, the clothing store with the suits and stuff is on my radar like a mission. how do i get rid of it? it really annoys me.

Few questions.

Is there any way to put mountain bikes on the back of pick up cars/other types?

Is it possible to gain wanted stars and ride the train?

I would also like to know this.

I've managed to jump from the ground and grab one when the lower cars are passing. But that's tricker.

An easy way to get on is to jump from a signal gantry. These often have ladders on. Then just wait for a train and jump down onto it. Again it's easier to land on the lower carriages as they have an edge that stops you falling off.

Then you can play train journey snipe-athon.

Can anyone help me out over social club problems? I haven't gotten my free car yet, but I have everything else. I'm literally at the grove street garage and it is empty. I actually went inside the garage and there is nothing in there.

Awkward, all you had to do is press left on the d-pad when prompted and it'll give you an option to pick it.

Right on the dpad for special vehicles.

34 pages second OP in just a couple of days? :O

Well, there's a reason why GTAV makes Kojima sad. =P

I can't believe how amazing the graphics are. The character movels are pretty damn smooth.

I've had the game since Tuesday, and I've completed a couple of missions already, yet all I do is just roam around the map exploring.

It's either a cut feature they forgot to remove or a glitch. There are no other responses available

Yes. While exploring I stole a gasoline can from someone and poored out a bunch of gas in a figure 8 and then shot it, it lit up all nice n pretty :D

DAYUM.

Also, can you access the airport early in the game? I tried the military base, but got blown the shit up.

Is there another airport?

I had an amazing glitch last night, I'd been up in the mountains exploring and was driving back to the city, as I came in I noticed there was no traffic.. then I noticed there were no pedestrians.. the whole city was empty. It was so eerily quiet.

I got out of my car and the ambient soundtrack still had the occasional scream and siren, but other than that it was a complete ghost town. I spent ages exploring and doing as I pleased with no police to worry about, it really was an interesting experience.

It made me realise that a Walking Dead style expansion to this game could be absolutely epic.

Just did "that" mission. It was pretty sick. Probably didn't need to be that detailed, especially in the various controls.
Oh well, at least it was Trevor doing it. Amirite? :(

I hate to say this, but after playing GTAV, I don't think Rockstar will be able to go "back in time" for future releases, mainly because a lot of the features they have introduced in the last two games have been centered around the technology of the today world and I just feel like at this point, taking away a lot of these features would be like downgrading

I'm probably just doubting myself and I'm sure they would be able to pull it off

The only way they couldn't "go back" is if the tried to transpose the functionality of current technology onto past tech. It would cheapen both.

I think there's still a lot you can do with past technology and there's a charming nostalgia to it.

Last night, I made Franklin look like Rick Ross, Michael like Robert De Niro from Casino and Trevor as close to a dirty hipster as possible.

I fucking love this game

There are definitely fewer so far from what I've seen, but I also thought that the police presence was too much in GTA IV... Maybe it was by choice, that New York has this much larger police presence, but in GTAIV nine times out of ten when you walked down the street to jack a car, you'd get police heat on you. In IV, if you accidentally discharged your gun (something I do a lot when first playing), you'd get police heat. In V that just isn't the case, and I'm thankful for it.

Yes, actually is cool that the cops are not a pest in this game.

Only way I've gotten onto a train was jumping on with a vehicle. Dirt bikes and ATVs are probably the easiest. Follow alongside long enough and you'll get a chance.
Thanks for tips.

Anyone a bit disappointed that you can't ride the trains in the city? You can get on them but it's not like RDR where you can ride it and mess with the passengers.

Oh has anyone found this monstrosity yet:

I need to find one, cause a traffic jam, and go on a impromptu destruction derby

It's not how the planes handle ( they are fine) its the camera and how that rotates with the planes ( whereas in SA the camera was static, basically)

Also, yea the sport bikes are ridiculously crappy. They feel like R* only put 20 seconds of effort into them, they just feel so bad ( very twitchy for example) Surprisingly worse than SR and SD!
( sport bikes only, the rest are meh, the Sanchez is a lot worse than the one in IV )

I just wish Rockstar gave us an option for the driving, like mafia 2 does. Hopefully PC modders can work there magic.

Bicycles are awesome though.

Ahhh okay, yeah I can see why that is annoying I didn't think it was an issue personally since that's also how it works in ace combat which is basically my go to for how planes should feel in a game with a controller.

Honestly driving motorcycles OR fast cars without Franklins special can be kind of frustrating. It's probably why Franklin has become my default "time to screw around" character.

I'm confused... I customized my car and created a new license plate with iFruit app but when i click "order" it states i need to register my plate...

ok, so now it let me click order but it keeps saying "order not sent. order failed to send" over and over...

What's the deal with finding the cars for Epsilon? I assume there's a website somewhere that'll give me locations but I must be being dense and can't find it.

Would love a nudge in the right direction.

Quoting myself...still looking for a solution.

ou can't reply to all texts/email if you can reply there will be a reply Icon in the centre at the bottom of the screen(I think it's a green arrow).

On the Xbox you press "A" to reply ps3 I'm guessing it's "X"

It then states you can pick a response but as stated earlier in the thread that doesn't seem possible so it's either a bug or something that got cut from the game.
