Yeah, no way would clean images of the Sugimori art pop up like that...it'd be a cam shot of a game screen or of the artwork. With Pyroar we had a source attached (IGN), these just appeared from nowhere.
That Froakie3 looks too serious. I think Frogadier's evolution should have the same "chill" feeling its pre-evolutions have, not an serious/angry face. The Braixen one looks really uninspired, since it is just a bulkier and taller version of Braixen with some purple details. It sort of reminds me of some Gen I evolutions (I love Gen I, but seriously, uncreative evolutions was a major problem back in the day).

Perhaps a reintroduction? There's no way to get the Apricorn balls outside of HGSS..i don't think.... right?
Also, as for the leak, the guy went back and updated his site with some new infos...but just recently he put in one final edit:
"In case you haven't noticed by now, I'm not the original leaker from pokebeach last night. I'm just a troll, but so far this website
has received over 100,000 views! Great job everyone! Now, on all of your forums... Did you like any of these ideas? Why did I do
this? for shits and giggles, honestly. It started off as just a small social experiment to see what people would say but then the
website went viral and was on every freaking pokemon forum I could find, so I toyed with you, adding stuff and changing stuff.
I have a friend who works at a EB Games (Canada's equivalent of GameStop) who let me know when the official game sleeves came in to the store. They put one copy of each sleeve off to the side for me and I put it into my game cases. Please note that these are the official Canadian game sleeves and I will scan them for you as soon as possible."
heh..that was a pretty good one. It's always good to have some fun and churn up discussion about stuff. But we still have a matter of the Froakie and Fennekin evos. I'd like to see someone come forward with some pics..but honestly I want to see the Chespin one now.
Also, since the sleeves have the Wailmer on them, could that potentially confirm WPM's new leaks?
That's a pretty amazing fake! The only thing I really see wrong, would be where the legs connect to the body. It looks like the torso is a tad too far to the left...
The Iron Ball isn't a Poke Ball. It's a held item that reduces the holder's Speed by half and makes flyers/levitators vulnerable to Ground-type moves. You're thinking of the Heavy Ball.
1. The sneak attack looks AWESOME
2. I saw grind rails. It's the return of environmental puzzles akin to the bike puzzles from R/S. Hopefully there's with all the different ways of traveling (skates, running, bike, rideable pokemon) they introduce a bunch of puzzles that take advantage of it
That Frokie evo looks awesome, I love the sleek design and his little cloud/cotton scarf look.
That Fennekin evo is..... eh. If not for the massive ear-hair, I think it would be relatively well done for a bi-pedal humanoid type Pokemon. I just can't get over that ear-hair though, seriously.
As for if they're real or fake, I'm still leaning towards fake unfortunately. The designs look pretty good (Hell, Some of the best fakes I've ever seen to be honest), there's still something that's "off" about them. For one, Frokie3's design doesn't convey anything about the Fighting type it's supposedly suppose to carry. Fennek3 on the other hand, while it does a good job of conveying both of it's rumored types (Fire/Psychic, or Fire/Fairy), something between it's transition from 2 to 3 just doesn't fit right. It's not that it's too different, so much as it's too similar, something Frokie3 also suffers from.
God, this is going to be the longest 3 weeks ever before we get our hands on the game and get to find everything out.

Also, I don't think it's in any other trailers besides the italian one i just linked, but theres some new footage of battles in a rocky area, and some surfing areas.

Froakie's final evo actually looks good but I'm not sold on Fennikins. It looks the exact same but maybe a little taller and the hair in its ears a different colour.
