I highly doubt 660ti will be enough. If so, there won't be such a large buzz about Mantle that's coming from AMD.

Also a PC running a 660ti will not run WD better than a PC running a 680. And that PC with 680 will not run it better than a PC with 780 etc.

So unless you have the absolute top of the line PC, you're not gonna get the definitive version. There's always a bigger fish.

Edit: I don't remember shitting on PC users?

He didn't say to beat the PS4 he said to get the definitive version.

With your 660ti (which may or may not beat out the PS4, it beats a 7850 but your forgetting about the inherent advantages of a closed platform) you wouldn't have the definitive version, because someone with a Titan, would have a better version which would then be the definitive version, then someone with 2 titans would come along and that would be the definitive version.

Then again, maybe your monitor is only 1080p/60hz(and therefore no more than 60fps) and someone is running it on a 1440p monitor at 60fps on a less powerful card, which would be the definitive version?

Variable hardware (and software) cannot be compared to fixed hardware with absolutes such as "definitive"

All these official statements recently from companies about how "they are trying to meet certain resolution and certain framerate" means they are struggling, and from the specs we know they will be struggling with one machine more than the other. DF is going to be happy, they'll have a job to do next gen!!

I have a launch PS4 ordered mainly for this game but every new video released for WD makes me regret getting the game. I'll get the system on launch for sure but I'm thinking about canceling my WD preorder for something else. And no, it has nothing to do with GTA.

getting back to the topic of the thread... Some are saying this is a shit unreliable source and some are saying this is the same guy who accurately predicted the xbone up clock. Which one is it?

I'd much rather hear things like, "PC, Xbox One, PS4? Who cares, just get the one you want and enjoy it." I'm just as tired of "PC MASTER RACE" as I am the bickering between Sony and Microsoft fans. This past gen I gamed on PC, PS3, and 360, and enjoyed each system. I'm planning on continuing that trend next-gen by getting a new video card for my PC, a PS4 at launch, and an Xbox One down the road once it gets some exclusives I'm interested in.

There is something to see here, which should silence the power doubter of the green camp (X1 not nVidia calm down MASTER RACE), but X1 defenders are hiding behind the big daddy (PC) which successfully derailed this thread into PC this and PC that.

Theres been hardly any laughing at xb1, theres been more laughing at the Wii U being compared with PS360 and general "yay, no false parity, PS4 version should be good

When a dev says they're targeting 30fps (or whatever), they generally mean that's the minimum acceptable frame rate, not the maximum. :p

Even if the article is bullshit. We know for a fact that PS4 is more powerful. No reason why multi platform console(notice how I said console) games shouldn't perform better on PS4.

Sorry - you post a thread stating that the PS4 will get the "graphically definitive version of Watch_Dogs" and expect PC Gamers to just ignore it?
I am all for rational discussions about the power difference between PS4 and Xbox One - but the threads should be labeled accordingly then ;-)

Why did you even enter this thread then? This is obviously a thread about the technical difference in consoles that is leading to a difference in graphics quality, something that a lot of people here try to downplay on a daily basis.
