oh well you see the thing here cowboy is that PC isn't fixed hardware like the consoles. So when I brag about having the optimal experience in home entertainment I am allowed to do so and you can't say i'm wrong in doing so
If they don't take advantage of the better hardware why would they want to piss off the (most likely) highest install base for next gen consoles?

Sony has always been getting the short end of the stick in multiplats since the PS2 days. You don't see them complaining about not receiving a ton of better looking &/or better performing multiplats while Microsoft & their fanboys have been gloating about them with the original Xbox & the Xbox 360.

3rd party developers can easily ignore Microsoft, especially if the PS4 has a larger install base. They don't exactly have as much leverage in the gaming industry like you (or Microsoft) think they do.

I upgraded to a 7950 recently.
A bunch of my games dropped to 720p max. One even dropped to 800x600 max with every feature stuck at the lowest setting.
I quickly learned that those games didn't understand that a card could have more than 1 or 2 GB of RAM and interpreted my PC as being severely underspecced.
Fixing it just meant adding a command or two to each game on boot, but that's still some bullshit. And it would melt the brains of every other gamer I know. And it's just the latest problem. (Having to add controller support to games designed for console controllers was maybe the biggest headscratcher.)
PC gaming is like selling your soul to the devil.

PC gaming can be cheaper and better performing than console gaming. If the thread title had "definitive console version" there wouldn't be complaints. Fact of the matter is third party games are going to be best on PC this generation. The difference already is much bigger than PS4 vs XBone and it will only increase as the years go by.
