fantastic love it.Er, yeah. I don't think that's even subjective, Good Egg Galaxy is his best work since Majora's Mask by a mile. If there's some substantial body of excellent work I'm missing from that interval, do tell.
Yokota's work on Galaxy 2 doesn't break much new ground and is mostly worse than or even with what he did before. It isn't bad, but he spent a hell of a lot of time trying, and failing, to recreate Gusty Garden.

I wasn't sure how hyped I was for this until I saw this. I thought it was just going to be more SM3DL, I'm glad it's got some Galaxy/64 in there as well.

Why would they keep that in there? It was in the last trailer, too. They need to scrap that area or do a major overhaul or something. Ugly colors, BARREN wasteland, terrible grass texture, etc.

...you're joking right? It's the only part that looks absolutely MISERABLE. Everything else looks fantastic.

That's the part of the trailer that hyped me the most. Giant open area like SM64. I love it.

This is worrying even Super Mario Galaxy, a SD Wii game, took twice as much space (3+ GB).
It's incredibly barren, all FLAT ground, ugly colors, and horrible grass texture.
Come on music GAF. Lets step it up. Don't be trashin SS soundtrack. Some of the best melodies and arrangements in Zelda history are in that game. Romance is in the Air is the first thing I think of when I think videogame love themes.
But Super Mario Galaxy 2 took 1,3GB.
Galaxy 1 takes so much space because of the intro and ending uncompressed FMVs at 60 fps.
You picked out the most miniscule complaint I had about it, and acted as if that was my only complaint.

We don't know that it's entirely flat yet. It could have more platforms in the foreground. It reminds me of Bob omb Battlefield.
Well, you've missed the point.
It's an open plain, it's supposed to be warm, relaxing and have a sense of freedom, which it does.

Kinda bullshit on the way they frame the online mode in that trailer. If you didn't play close attention, you might think it's actually on-line co-op.

And well, they are not really using high-resolution textures or high-poly characters. That should keep the file size down. TWW HD was fairly small as well.

From what I can see over to the left, the side of the dune slopes down and looks like you can enter from that side.looks neat. Damn this thread moves fast.
This has probably been mentioned before, but what is in/under that sand dune? Something can be seen inside (fire flower?). How would you even get to it?
