It may be a dick move to spill the beans on what my friend said, but I always thought it was kinda silly how the industry controls its messaging so much.
It's ridiculous how free information is within the industry while the fans are left to speculate and wait for manicured announcements in the service of marketing and hype trains.

PS also I imagine the original creators will be involved in some capacity. Didn't really ask about that though, but it's somewhat like how Nintendo handled Punchout or Luigi's Mansion 3DS.

It's one of those games I feel that would have to be priced accordingly on a budget release in order to even sell half-decently, like Puppeteer ($40) or Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus ($30) price assuming it would be in retail and not digitally only or something.
Katamari would be a good fit too.

Also, this doesn't need to be a budget title. If you'll only buy this game for $20, you're part of the problem. If this is done right, it would be basically better than anything Sony has done in the last... 10 years? It's worth $30. It's worth $50. It's worth buying a PS4 and a Vita for.
