Space Marine is fucking awesome. One of the most enjoyable third person shooters this gen.

For your sake I hope the mp is still active as well, I had some really great times with it. The campaign is decent though.
I have it on the 360 already. I just want it for the MP, i suck at fps on consol. :)

Damn, im thinking about getting Space Marine from the GMG's Warhammer sale. I wonder if the MP is still active.

Probably not, it was hard to get a good game going many months ago and that it's p2p with a lot of connectivity problems didn't help.

Space Marine is boring. Got it from PS Plus. Lasted 2 hours.

I entered your Zombie giveaway (thx!) so I'll refrain from insulting you. Which is what I usually do with people who don't appreciate Space Marine.

I'm informed that the other Assassin's Creed games are MUCH better, and have a better storyline, and don't have you repeating the game over at the halfway point ala the first Assassin's Creed. If that's the case I look forward to the other Assassin Creed titles.
People are playing the first Assassin's Creed wrong. If I remember correctly, there are nine actual assassinations and a whole bunch of optional "missions".
Since the optional missions are very repetitive, the correct way to play the game is: do each type of optional mission once or twice (or not at all), and otherwise focus on the main storyline. It's an awesome game. The atmosphere in each city is great, and I believe it has the most breathtaking climb+jump (that huge Cathedral) in any Assassin's Creed game.

I've also played AC2 and Brotherhood, and they too have a ton of optional stuff that I didn't care for. For example, restorating Rome in Brotherhood takes a ton of time and is just as pointless as restorating that place in AC2.

ok you guys have convinced me. ac1 is wishlisted. it doesn't have any sneaky horrible 2008 DRM does it?

I liked AC1 very much but you can't avoid repetitve missions because you have to complete loads of them to get to the assassinations and they start to repeat fast. There's no way around trailing some random dude about ten times. Fortunately AC2 improved that part, unfortunately it left out the assassination set-pieces.

Again, the only problem with Assassin's Creed is that it doesn't identify Wireless 360 controllers properly: They're mapped incorrectly and the analog triggers don't work. Worst part is that you either can't remap the controls or remapping them doesn't fix the analog issues (I don't quite remember).

Wired 360 controllers work wonderfully and, if you have a wired 360 controller plugged in, your wireless one works.

You're right. And since the PC version has two extra activities, you can, for the most part, only do one activity of each before each main assassination and not have to do twice of the same activity on the same mission.

So, for instance, let's say there's 6 different activities to do in the game (I don't quite remember what they are). Before a mission, you have the choice of making 8 activities, but you can progress in the story by only making 5. Since the PC Version has 6 different activities, as opposed to the console versions, which only had 4, you can do one of each a before a mission. Or you can repeat a "help a stranger" missions as opposed to making a single "eavesdrop on these people" missions.

It's not a bad game at all.

Ah right, I didn't remember that. But you're exaggerating a lot. Only 2 investigations are required before you can start the assassination.
And on PC there are 7 or so mission types, so it's really not that repetitive unless you do 6 investigations per target.

Edit: Yeah, like drizzle already said

Well then, come and get it, people. I don't need it. I could do a ModBot giveaway, but I can't imagine a lot of people actually need the season pass.

This fix does the trick, but it doesn't restore rumble functionality. Ubi could correct the issue by simply adding the wireless controller device ids, but of course this has not and will not happen.

Because he likes F.E.A.R. 3.

Hey, I played through F.3.A.R. twice and enjoyed it both times. All co-op, though. I think I would've found it to be an incredibly boring, generic shooter if I didn't have a buddy to goof around with the whole time.

I will also always call it F.3.A.R., because if they want to do some stupid shit like that I'm going to continue using it.

:O

That's the part I mostly enjoy from AC1! I haven't finished it yet but if Ubi took out that from AC2 there's no real incentive for me to keep playing it :(
I didn't know this because I'm spoiler free thinking some day I will finish them all :/

AC2 is a far far superior game, you'll find your fun.
Trust me, I know stuff.

On a related note I had to install a specific xbox 360 driver to make the wired controller work.

I hope so!

I've been playing Rage for a good 3hrs now. So far I'd have to say that the game is a good mix of Bioshock and Borderlands. It has Bioshocks gunplay and Borderlands vehicle transportation and quest system.

So far the story is near nothing. I'm just an errand boy... that's about it. Hopefully the game's story opens up or something because I'm not interested in the story so far.

Gunplay is keeping me interested though. Also I fixed the ton of screen tearing I was having by setting Vsync to "on".

So is it impossible to play GTAIV online with Steam version now?
I redeemed key from Amazon on Steam and downloaded game. When it asked for cd-key I entered key that Steam provides with pop up message but it was incorrect.I found in the web that I should enter this key on xbox.com in redeem code section and then game with correct cd-key should be available on Games for Windows Live Client.I entered key on xbox.com and it was correct, then I downloaded GFWLC but there is no GTAIV here so I still don't have a key to enter in Steam to play GTAIV online.
I don't know what to do.
I would really appreciate any kind of help.

How is The Bridge? Thinking of buying it on the amazon sale.

Cool game. Buy when cheap.

I meant over the course of the whole game and I played through it in a short span of time so the repetitiveness was more pronounced.

Castle of Illusion is on sale on Greenmangaming.
With the code, you could get it for $8. Make sure you have the fanpatch installed to have it run at 60 FPS!

Stump - looks like there's a spelling mistake in the instructions from Modbot that everyone ignores: "You can remove these lines from the version you past."

Because of Grief.exe, I decided to check out Civ V again. Where the hell did my 2 days go? I went to work by just spraying cologne on cause I didn't even have time to bathe.

I say wait for a lower price. 66-75% off sounds okay, Sega doesn't deserve more for this terrible port and zero support. They didn't even bother to make a Steam icon.
