I can see myself going digital with this amazon/PSN store situation.
They always have deals and that AC4 deal worked great. Now have it on PS4.
PS4 System storage management/Information it shows AC Black Flag - Size 22GB
Bought and upgraded ACIV to PS4. How quickly is that PSN $5 bonus added to the account? Now waiting for the BF4 lightning deal tonight.
I bought it like an hour ago and i still don't have the 5 bucks, which is weird because yesterday when I bought NBA 2K14 they sent me an email as soon as i bought it telling me that I had the bonus. So maybe ACIV doesn't have this bonus.
It does have the bonus as they emailed me about it. I then bought BF4 and they took off the $5 automatically.
and when you bought Battlefield they sent you another email for an extra 5 dollars?
Because I bought ACIV with the 5 bucks that i got before with NBA2K14, so maybe that's why.

So, can someone walk me through how that works as a non US guy?
I have a US Amazon account and I bought some pc games there, so that works. I buy PS3 versions from Amazon for PS3, use my PS3?/PS4? with my US account to DL the games (once I remember the info) and then use a US PSN dollar card to add funds to the US account and upgrade from there? Yes? So, how much of a dollar amount would I need to buy for AssCreed4 and BF4 with those 5 buck promos?
Thinking about returning my b2g1 games (BF4, AssCreed4 with shiny metal case, Knack) to Amazon.de if I can get those games for ~100 instead of 140. I would have zero games to play then and dozens of hours of download before me, though.
Redeem the code on the webstore. You'll need to buy the $10 PSN card from amazon though to digitally upgrade to the PS4 version (which can also be done online). The $5 promo can only be redeemed on amazon against a game. Fortunately if you are buying multiple games it will automatically take the $5 off then next one.
Okay. So I'd need a 20 dollar card to upgrade two games.
Does remote play work with games from an account that is not the same as the one on Vita? I mean I use my US account to download and can play with my main account, but can I use RP when Vita is the same account as the main PS4? I hate Amazon.de so much right now.
Not sure if it was confirmed earlier, but you can redeem the code on Canadian PSN!
Bought AC4, redeemed with my CA account! YES!
Hey guys I'm from the uk and managed to buy ac4 digital code for ps3 just fine, I then tried to get lego marvel ps4 digital code and $10 dollar digital code but those 2 said they needed additional checks and after about 2 hours they put my account on hold :-( what are my options now? As I can't buy those 2 things and I really need at least the $10 code to upgrade ac4
Yeah, you'd need $20. If you set your US account on the PS4 as primary then you can play your US games with it on your EU account including remote play etc.
Great, thanks for confirming. Curiously, did your CA address work as the billing address, or did you have to use a US address?
I never needed that with the PS3. I just logged into the US account, got the game, switched back to my main and it even continued to download and let me play later.
Ok, i see what you mean. Undercutting retails could mean less jobs and that physical copies of games wont excist anymore though. I mean, everyone wants to get stuff cheaper of course, nothing wrong with that, but undercutting retail isnt necessarily only a good thing. I also think that one reason why digital stuff isnt always priced much cheaper than physical copies is to keep the competition more fair. In the same way that stores get punished if they break the sales date (its not like there is any technical reasons why a game cant be sold earlier, its just to keep it so that one store doesnt have any advantage if they recieve the stock before another store). And there is also the question if ditigtal only versions will excist, is there any reason to lower the price when people are used to paying $60 anyway =)Because a game bought digitally should never cost the same as retail. Sony skips the middleman as well as physical costs associated with shipping a product. Digital goods should be consistently cheaper than their physical counterparts. If they price digital games aggressively it will help ease the transition to digital as the games will be much cheaper than normal.

Like this:
PS4: US is main account, EU account is secondary account.
Vita: EU account is the only account (thanks for locking memory cards to accounts)
Remote Play works on Vita.
???
If so, would that work with two accounts and tow Vitas? I have one, my brother has one. Both accounts that we also use on Vita on PS4 (how many accounts can be on there?), then RP would work for either of us?
As anyone from outside of the US done this succesfully ?
Can we imagine a situation where Sony blocks us from using our games if we've been buying US codes from outside the States?
i'm about to drop cash on a bunch of games but i have to make a final check since i'm from europe:
I have added a delaware adress to my amazon account and made that my 1-click adress.
I added my creditcard to the adress to pay for the games ( same as "splashing the cash" ? )
I then get the codes sent to my email ?
and lastly:
I open my american psn account, redeem codes, switch back to euro account and everything is grits 'n gravy ?
As anyone from outside of the US done this succesfully ?
Got AC4 and if they send me $5 credit fast I'm gonna grab Lego Marvel too. It's been 4 hours, wonder what's been taking them so long?

Random US billing address. CA didn't work.

Try to check out with the Lego Marvel code and I bet they will take off the $5. That's how it worked for me.

I'm sorry if this has been asked a thousand times before in the thread:
I'm a european, and currently only have a EU PSN account. If I create a US account and buy a game via Amazon's digital offers (and register+download it through my new US PSN account), will I be able to log in with my old EU account and play the game and even gain trophies on that account? I seem to recall hearing that you could do this on the PS3.
