TLOU build up to the event in 2011 was awesome, too bad we don't get something like that again. I'd love for an HD port or even straight up port of TLOU to the PS4.

yeah. And he doesn't say new games. He says "stuff" that could refer to anything new, a new announcement for an upcoming annoucement, new DLC, a new recut trailer of old footage, absolutely anything can fall under the new stuff category.
After the PS4/X1 launch shows, I'm not even setting low expectations.
There will be new stuff.

As awesome as Vanquish was I'd much rather have a new IP by PG.
SSM's new IP might show up, but I doubt it.

I don't think Microsoft will delve to deeply into its 2015 lineup during 2013. I would expect teasers for most of it during E3 2015 though. Obviuosly I'm assuming that any Platinum/Microsoft game won't be out until after 2014.

I was really impressed with the VGA's of last year, which was the first time I was watching it, so I'm really stocked for saturday!
The Witcher 3, The Division, Dying Light, Thief and Titanfall (even tho I don't own a X1) are all games I look forward to see more. And then there's also the possible suprises that could happen like SSM's new IP, the new Uncharted and what not. Oh and Samuel L Jackson.

I agree, especially as the new format is done so its not just trailers but actually gameplay stuff right? As an example, Quantum Break I assume they'll get up on stage with a controller and play it for a few minutes or something
before they confirm a Q2 2014 release

Thing is, they won't announce surprises before hand as thats the point of a surprise. Weren't Batman: Arkham City, Skyrim and Dark Souls II not even hinted at beforehand? So I wouldn't write it off yet.
Also I think you're being a bit harsh, most of those games look great. We've not had much in the way of details for Quantum Break and The Division (as far as I know) hopefully it'll be good.
Oh don't get me wrong, the games look good just not my cup of tea. Your first point is also hopefully true.
