It means that it's going to be the very first thing millions of people see when they go and check out the Steam Winter Sale tomorrow.

Yeah I think that a PC gaming going on sale at launch is no indication of quality. It is an indication that developers and publishers are looking at post launch sales numbers and trying to figure out ideal price points from that information.

Oh man, I and my friend were so excited for this is coming to PC.But CPU requirement is high.It won't work on i5-3210m.
Also, how frequently use the blade mode? The reason why they need good cpu seems to be this.If you' don't have to use it on every 5 minutes, it could work.I just need stable 30-35 FPS.It won't do any justice to this game.I need to buy a new laptop.

Damn. Coming from a Japanese developer (other than Capcom) I expected this to be a quick console port I'd just be running in high res, perhaps even a Dark Souls situation. This doesn't look quite like a Square Enix PC port, but they've definitely put some sheen on it.

Protip to new PC slasher and dicers: don't try to get the Re-vengeance achievement, don't try to finish the VR missions, don't collect 200. It will make you hate the game, hate yourself, and hate life throughout all creation.

Seriously though, VR missions are awful.

My Dualshock 4 is ready.

I've been looking forward to this for a while. My hardware is up to snuff, I'm hoping for great things. I missed the game on consoles earlier this year, because I am psychic and knew this was coming.

How often you use Blade Mode?

A lot. A whole lot. The game is basically designed around parrying and Blade Mode. Parry to avoid taking damage and get a free counterattack if you nail it, Blade mode to Zandatsu the enemy for a full health/energy recharge.

You pretty much do this for well over half the enemies you meet in the game. So every 5 minutes? No. Try every 10-15 seconds in a big brawl.

System Requirements:

Minimum:
OS: XP or Vista or 7 or 8
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTS 450
DirectX: Version 9.0c

Recommended:
OS: XP or Vista or 7 or 8
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 650
DirectX: Version 9.0c

At first glance, it does seem the requirements (both min and recommended specs) are rather high. But strangely enough, there is Windows XP support (for both min and rec), which means that the game doesn't use any specific higher end DX10/11 features at all (like Tesselation) which would necessitate the min req of a DX11 card.

So theoretically speaking users with higher end DX9/10 cards for their time (like the GTX 280/285 and ATI Radeon 4850/4870/4890) could potentially still run this. I suspect the both min and rec specs are taking into account locked 60 FPS performance all the time, and weaker machines would be capable of running this with FPS dips of course/and or with lower rendering resolutions/performance options , just like on the consoles.

Still looking forward to buying this game and trying it out on both my desktop and much weaker laptop lol.

Don't worry, it will be a lot easier this time since the white armor is included.

That was such a terrible section. Even though there are harder parts/fights to get S-rank on, you could just feel how BS that part was the entire time. Struggling with the awful subweapon controls is painful compared to the rest of the game.

So to get it at the best price we have to blind buy before even knowing if the port is good or not? I'm torn on buying this for now as I'm a good bit below the recommended CPU
