You should of seen me when I nabbed once launch night when they hit Amazon for about 10 minutes. Was ready to do naked cartwheels down busy intersections

Putting 999 doesn't reserve/hold those in amazon's system. If there are less then 999 in stock then amazon will correct your cart to the remaining amount they have left. That's all it does. edit: Fifa 13 PSP Use that as a example. Add fifa 13 psp to your cart. Go to cart and change quantity to 999 and hit "update" what happens?

Tried it just now. Changed Knack bundle to 999 - said 193 max. Tried adding other bundles and, once the basket was clear, allowed lots (seems there is a cap to no of items in basket that threw off my tests before leading me to believe there were 3xx of each of the other 2 SKUs - sorry!)

Just Tried Knack again before posting and it's 187, so they are going quite fast! Also, my basket is now just under $1/4m so I think I'll empty it.

Last check: 999+ ps4, 712 Killzone bundle , 999+ Battlefield bundle, 169 Knack bundle.

That's odd. Maybe they do it based on shipments. I'm able to order one now despite buying 4 from them in the past.

They were up for about 1.5 hours on launch night. I remember because that's how long it took me to finally get in touch with someone that I knew wanted one. She got her order in under the wire.

Was their a stealth Sony restock? My friend went to gamestop yesterday to trade in stuff towards a ps4 but they didn't have any in stock. I go to both target and gamestop today to see do some Christmas shopping and both places had ps4s and xb1s in stock. I saw a couple leaving with a ps4 and I saw one guy with a wii u, ps4, and xb1 being rung up at target. Definitely more xb1s in stock, but was surprised to see ps4s available in both places I checked today.

I think so was at gamestop yesterday and they got about 30 ps4s.

I went at about 9 and they only had a cpl left.

Most bundles also seem to be in stock. This must have been a huge resupply. Now is your chance (I own 3--no joke, don't ask).

Nah been enjoying the last 2 weeks with Resogun, Warframe and AC4.

Sony must be doing some crazy restocking though, since there ended up being more than 100 people waiting outside for a PS4 when I got mine (they had something like 70 and still sold out before opening) so there's definitely huge demand still I'm sure.

I'm after another PS4 but don't fanct paying a £50 premium for a game I have only a passing interest in. Suppose I could sell it on, but unneeded hassle.

Either we got close enough to Christmas that people buying for gifts have given up and found alternate gifts, or Amazon got an asston of them.

Argos.co.uk have one game bundles for £399 or a bundle with an extra dualshock for £405.

It's really not that bad considering the stock situation and the fact that games are retailing at £45+ everywhere.

I don't really think it's a bad sign, but it's what people keep saying in the Xbone availability threads.

Still in stock hours later? Probably amazon's biggest stock so far. Its the last big weekend for shopping so of course Sony flooded the channels as much as they could.

Then I don't understand why people are still bidding on eBay when its over $800.

Oh well. I guess some people just like spending more for things that are readily available for regular price. Or they are simply dumb people with a ton of money.
Anyway, glad its available and I hope supply keeps meeting demand, like Xbox One.

Just noticed Asda have some bundles in stock too (game plus PS+), think I'll hold tight and see if the regular console comes in stock over the weekend - in no rush for Christmas.

XB1 stays in stock for hours on Amazon: They must have plenty of supply
PS4 stays for more than 3 hours in stock on Amazon: No one is buying PS4's, it's BOMBA

PS4's are being seen in the wild. Tomorrow is Super Saturday for shippers so expect this to be a large wave of units for the xmas countdown

Went to a local gaming store, and it had 4 Ps4's on the shelve :D

Its just to remind me that im poor and cant buy any for myself, but i was surprised there were a few on the shelve, and probly theres a bit more if i had asked.

So after placing an order on Amazon for a ps4, I decided to give my local Gamestop a ring to see if they indeed have some in stock. The lady said yes and I immediately canceled my Amazon order and took the 5 minute drive, antsy as fuck all the while.

I got there and there was 6 people inline. I saw 1 PS4 on the back counter on top of 3 Xbox 1. I was praying to dear god that no one in front of me was there for it. It was still there when I got to the register so I asked if they have any for sale.

"No, sold out."

I was strucked with bewilderment and crestfallen! "But I called not 10 minutes ago..."

"Yea, sorry."

So I hung my head and walked out thinking how I should of kept the Amazon order; maybe that was sold out too and I missed another chance.

"Wait!" I heard. "Theres 1 left. Im sorry."

Turns out the ps4 on the counter was unclaimed! Now im so happy!
