Looks like she's tripping.

she looks like she's high as fuck. Rosalina is concerned

Zelda looks like she's gonna rip apart her opponents this time. i guess she finally found out that Link cheats on her with Peach and got sick of being a side dish.

she looks more appealing than in past games, i want to try her soon after i get the game (not before the goddess Rosalina though)

and she clearly can't beat Rosalina. only picture where Zelda loses her tough look once she realized that she was losing that duel.

Zelda as Dio and Rosalina as a JoJo would be more fitting since someone pointed out Zelda looks pale like a vampire already.

Did you do the cel-shading look? I did something of the sort in computer class but totally forgot (also it was in Photoshop), did you use the typical hue, saturation, sharpness, etc effects? I can try to replicate that in Paint.NET, would be a fucking blast!

IntelliHeath

As in "Heathcliff"
Why not just add her in? Palutena and Bayonetta would be amazing!

I'm not fan of the idea of Bayonetta being in the game. I guess I don't like the idea of her being playable because she isn't iconic enough in video game history as Mega Man, Snake and Sonic did.

John Harker

Definitely doesn't make things up as he goes along.
No need. We already have Bayonetta in Smash.
Right?

That be cool. I really have no idea but a few third parties/devs have asked Nintendo to use their characters, though it really is up to Sakurai what makes it

Only characters he feels fits, if I recall. Which is why Megaman and Sonic made it.
I don't know if Bayonetta could in his universe, but man would it be amazing.

Did he really think Snake fit? Or was that just because Miyamoto told him to because he's friends with Kojima?

It's actually Sakurai that's friends with Kojima. And he probably thought Snake fit all right.

Huh, for some reason I thought it was Miyamoto. Probably some lingering thoughts from when the only Nintendo name I knew was Miyamoto around the time Brawl was announced.

I can't help but think none of them would be serious request unless it was followed up by an offer of putting their own game on the Wii U or 3DS. Otherwise it's simply promotion of the third party game or character and directing Nintendo's customers to another platform and Nintendo has nothing at all to gain from the character's inclusion. The request would be laughable right away unless it's made with a deal in mind.

Even developers with characters that had a long Nintendo history shouldn't even bother unless they are willing to do something on their end. This is why I still feel that Snake's inclusion was wrong and something that should never have happen. There was Snake Eater on the 3DS but that's just a repeat of Twin Snakes. An older game on Nintendo hardware that is years late while other systems get current and future games. Then there is a wonder why said games fail. Snake in Smash for MGS 5 Wii U and seems like a fairer trade. All Snake in Brawl seemed to get was MGS3 on the 3DS and not even a good version of that 8 years after its initial release. Only to be undercut as well by the HD remake.

If the inclusion of third party characters isn't seen as a deal making situation then it should be. The deals should be fair as well.

does that version even count? it was announced like 3 years after SSBB had been released.
for practical purposes, Nintendo got nothing from Konami for putting Snake in SSBB. it was the ultimate cheap move to pull because it was a slap on Nintendo's face ("see this new character in SSBB? you'll never play any of his games in this console")

To me, Snake being in is its own reward. He's one of the biggest characters in gaming, one of the most iconic, and one of the most recognizable. It's such an important character that Sony couldn't even secure him for PSABR (how did they fuck up that roster so badly anyway?)

It might not count however it was the only think they likely could have gotten out of it and it was such a horrible thing.

Wow. Having Snake in there was a real treat. It attracted a lot of attention and was great for fans and also brought a new playstle to the game, which is Sakurai's main desire. No one is asking for money to have a character included in Smash, Smash as a series is a love letter to gaming mascots... And Nintendo can't force it either, they don't own Sora. Decisions up to Sakurai.

And its always been a win in my mind

Some of their key players were owned by people who didn't wanna get involved. So they substituded with some... less than stellar choices.

Hence why the girl from the god of war clone got in, but the god damned TOMB RAIDER could not get in.

SODOCHI NO SADAME
JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOJO

Glad to see JoJo get recognition though. Everyone wondering what the fuck a joestar is, see the anime. It may be low budget, but damn it's fine. Avoid the part 3 OVAs, it barely gets anything right.

Why are some people acting like Shiek is gonna get cut? I remover this happening last time during Brawl as well.

Anyway, nice to see Zelda finally confirmed.

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!

...Are you...are you telling us Square wouldn't mind in having Sora in Smash Bros.?

That won't help the discussion, oh God.

Because Disney hates Nintendo ?

Square or Nintendo might have the front the bill for letting them use it. And and whether that price is reasonable or not I dunno.

Disney does not mind letting people do much of anything with their peoples nowadays. However, Someone would either have to buy the licenses, has to be created by Disney themselves, or Disney would have to care enough to just let them do it/ pay for that particular character or thing to be in that thing.

And Since I assume Disney aren't exactly big smash fans, and the Wii U ain't doing so hot, Nintendo or square would have to pay for it.

i dunno, the new smash bros seems to have realized that the GRITTY AND REALISTIC look of Brawl wasn't as good, and is trying to dial it a bit back to Melee's

Melee kinda had that too, people like to pretend it didn't. Graphical fidelity and all that.

Smash 4 is using brighter colors however.
