Can you tell me what desk you have? I have been looking for a L-shaped desk like that for awhile.

Here is mine setup, only thing that is missing are next gen consoles... Will be here next year, still has some titles to finish on this generation...

System components are:

Samsung UE-40D5000 (soon to be replaced with LG 42LN575S most probably)
Onkyo TX-NR414 AV Receiver paired with Onkyo SKS-HT528 speakers set (this replaced my old Logitech G51 speakers and sound is much much much better)
XBOX 360 Slim with Kinect
SONY PlayStation 3 Slim
Local IPTV STB device

All cables are routed behind cabinet, and easily accessible if needed, just remove these two drawers and voila cable galore behind :)

This thread and pictures/setups were really helpful in deciding what and how to make mine...

Hope you like it, here are the pics...

Some people asked for action in my home cinema. These are photos only shot with the HTC one. They doesn't reflect the true quality of the projection. But you can imagine how good the contrast and sharpness are even if I go closer. The first pic is shot from the seat.

As I said before it is impossible to take a good picture from the room and from the projection at the same time. The camera can't handle the different lighting.

Edit: I turned up the exposure in the camera app to show you the area below the screen. Not much but better than nothing

I'm still interested in how people from the US can know my German Nubert speakers.

Here's my new setup. I endured last-gen on a various crappy sub-hd Samsung TVs with build-in speakers. So the PS4 really pops on ASUS MX279H, Rokit 5 and aiaiai's TMA-1 Studio headphone.

I searched / shopped / printed / framed these tonight. Going to hang them up in my gaming space. Still have 8 frames left, will try and find some time to pick 8 more games that are important to me.

I finally got around taking a couple pics of the gaming areas at home.
This is our family living room (55"Samsung LED; xbox360, Xbox One, PS3, BD Player, SS),

Maybe, in a couple days, Santa will be cool enough to drop that PS4!

I'm so jealous of these setups. I can't have nice clean setup because I have 3 boys, 5 and under. If I didn't gate off my tv and game systems off, my tv would be pulled down and ps4 used as a chew toy or a dance dance revolution pad.

So, I just moved down to Shreveport, LA (anyone in the area?) and I was hoping you guys could give some advice on how I should set everything up. When I get home today I'm going to take some pictures of the space I have to work with and throw them up on here. I have a very pesky fireplace and window that are really mucking up anything I can come up with. I'm going to go all out with the cable management and want a more sleek and streamlined look to the place. Until then!

Edit: Let's do this thing. So I put up some letters to make it easier. Please forgive the terrible computer and television. I bought most everything when I was still a student. I'm going to put up a 5.1 surround system. I have a glass TV Stand and glass L-shaped desk coming. The desk could also just be in a straight line. If it would be helpful, I could include links to what they look like. Assume I'll clean up the terrible kitchen mess as well!
Im from longview tx. a little less than an hour from Shreveport.

Great setup and I love the lighting fixtures, makes me think of a castle. Very cool.

My home cinema is equipped with RGB LED Strips. I can change color, brightness and different light scenes with a remote.
Look for RGB strip on Amazon.

Lovely little setup, very pleasing to the eyes. Got a TMA-1 myself as well, but just the "normal" one. Studio is just too big for my head, haha. Have you had a chance to try them both? If so, how to they fare against each other? And what about leakage?

Finally bought my very first hdtv this month, after years of gaming on a 22" monitor. Gotta say, it's quite a jump and it's changed the whole look of my tiny bedroom.

Given that my PS4 just arrived, it was about time I moved on to the 21st century with a new 50" Samsung LED. Now to save up for an Apple TV, a Wii U
and eventually an Xbox One
and I'll be set for the foreseeable future.

That is one VERY NEAT bedroom!

My room is so small so I have nowhere to put them aside from there. I plan to reorganize my room soon to accommodate for everything, eventually.

do your ps4 and xbone switch positions according to which one you're using ?
Because i can see your PS4 fucking your bone otherwise.
Or they might end up fucking each other actually.

Goemon shut it down. Good stuff.

Been lurking in and out of this thread since I was in college. Since graduating, I've posted my own setup. Goemons setup is the type of ish that motivated me to finish school lol

Did you get the VT60?

Nope, just a Vizio LED from BF sale. Major impulse buy cuz I wanted a larger new TV just to play the new consoles. LOL It's pretty gorgeous aside from the minor flashlighting and clouding that is noticeable during all black parts in movies. I'll probably pick up a VT60 when prices are lower. If they sell out I'll just go full-array LCD. Flashlighting is really quite annoying at times.
