Ended on this. Not impressive, but I'm satisfied. The Glass-Bead Game and Wolf Hall could be counted as two books each according to the rules, but I don't care THAT much :)

Lots of good reading last year, that's for sure. Wolf Hall is brilliant. The Left Hand of Darkness is a unique take on sci-fi. Believe in People has tons of good insight into people in general. And Shantaram is literaty fireworks.
