It's been mentioned several times. Honestly, and this is just me personally, that games music does absolutely nothing for me. I don't think Nier's music is bad or anything, but just never have been able to enjoy it like it seems most others seem to.

OK thanks. I was getting worried for a minute there.

That's fair enough. Different strokes for different folks. I've said the same thing to myself about some of the suggestions in this very thread.

Yeah it bums me out because I love video game music and feel like I'm missing out in this instance.


OT: While maybe not a boss theme in the truest sense, Chrono Cross "Life - Distant Promise" is easily one of my favorite all time tracks of game music. I still remember feeling mesmerized the first time it started up, I was captivated.

I think this is probably my favorite song from the entire OST when all is said and done, and there's a lot of good songs on it lol

I expect Nier: Automata to deliver as well after this taste.

I would immediately buy it. I loved the concept of multiplayer brawler fighting, the sad thing is that the game was so niche it was difficult as hell to get a game going, especially in Europe.

Still, was a fun game, it had great music that fit so well with the post-apocalypse setting and had some really cool character designs.
