Depends on the system you use. Blue - yellow follows cmyk if I'm not mistaken. No, orange is.
Anyway, I hate this new design. The white looks so much better than the yellow.
Surely look like something designed for a demographic even under the typical N market.
Those are fucking hideous.
Ugliest cover ever.
Mmm good old GAF hyperbole.ugly beyond possible, GC one were better.

Just like the green on the Xbox360 boxart does? I like the fact everyone has become an artist in this thread lol. Blue and yellow work fine together.Yellow ruins it. Should be black/white so it doesnt ever conflict with cover art :/
The yellow doesn't make any sense.
Here is my super quick idea of how it should look. Feels more like it fits with the white Wii/U theme.

Yeah I feel like we're going to see a lot of blue and yellow in the marketing campaign. Not yet.
But what do WE know about color schemes Nintendo is using for use in software, packaging and advertising?
I don't like the yellow.
Off topic I don't like Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth: box art.
That Spiderman pose creeps me out. The whole things looks wrong.
I bet a ton of people are gonna be wondering why these games don't work on their Wii
Probably because blu-ray cases are proprietary for the blu-ray standard discs, which Wii U game discs are not. It's probably due to legal issues.
It makes so much more sense when together with shades of red.Dat yellow

We haven't seen what WiiU's branding looks like outside the logo. That looks awful. Use a white stroke border around the blue you morons. What the hell does yellow have to do with the Wii/Wii U's white image branding or Nintendo's red/gray branding?
They pay people to be experts and understand how people react to visual arrangements. It's not that hard to grasp.I have no idea how you people can be so analytical over the banner on the top of a box.
This style is looking more and more official.
But why it's there, I don't know!
The yellow has to be to help people who don't know any better to distinguish between a Wii and Wii U game, which Nintendo could have easily done had they not named the system Wii U.
Day 1.This style is looking more and more official.
All blue works for me
