Rock Band iOS thread made me think about this.
Do you consider yourself to be capable of doing this even if said company continues to put out games that you love?
by acting against the customer i mean anything that could bother you: online pass, on-disc DLC, bad pricing, shoddy port, etc.
The whole Origin thing was kind of a turning point for me on this and ive been basically not supporting EA's efforts on PC beyond friends gifting me BF3.
This however changed with the release of Mass Effect 3, wich i got on the cheap but im still playing and (so far, yeahyeah) enjoying. I can say the same about cacpcom and their PC efforts (pricing, lack of deals, lack of support on my region, GFWL etc), but my stance is not as strong as to refuse to get any future Capcom product on PC in a given opportunity.
Do you think you're capable of doing something like this? have you? why?
