Trying to draw this girl again, using only the pencils.

It is not good yet, but I think I'm improving my skills. I love this piece of software, even if I'm not a good artist.

i can't for the life of me use colors in my drawings. When I was a kid I loved drawing my manga characters, so even back there I didn't paint them.

Thanks guys! Just wondering, what do you guys think of Art Academy as a drawing program? I think there are definitely a few niggling issues (no layers, fill tool, 'erase last' option etc) and the fact you can only save 12 images is pretty weird, but I'm having a lot of fun with it and it's pretty awesome for the price.

YOUR THOUGHTS?

First attempt in Art Academy.

Not really happy with it. Lazy shading. A bit flat overall and the background is uninspired, but I got bored of it halfway through :p
Will try a bit harder next time

Sigh..so I guess that Miiverse update pretty much killed this thread :/

:( you can still post the link I guess

Still works, you just gotta be smart:

Go to same ol' Miiverse post page, right mouse button -> view source code.

In the source code, CTRL+F (search/find) and look for the first cloudfront link. It's the link the full sized image (in the meta property="og:image" line).

et voilà:

Shocked and appalled that I didn't think to do this.
