Such a weird incident:
- A marathon is a weird target
- 3 hours after the race finished
Very few reach first, this probably happened when most runners and crowd were in one place

What could possibly be the message they are trying to send? "I hate long distance runners?" It's just really weird, it's not a symbol of America or capitalism like the WTC or the Superbowl or something would be, it's just a race...

Lots of attacks make not much sense. I would not put it past any nut job.
'Terrorism' is not the exclusive domain of any one group or ideology.Attacking a huge famous public event reeks of terrorism. It's a scare tactic.
Absolutely terrible...

They are saying there are missing limbs.
Oh my

Can the general public take part in the Boston marathon? If so, it's not as strange as it seems.
For example, London Marathon. The pros run first and then there's the marathon that anyone can enter. People are crossing the finish line for hours and hours during the day. Hours and hours after the first person crosses.
Same here. It's still working for me.
he first explosion happened across from the Lenox Hotel and the second blast was about 15 seconds later, witnesses said.
Many of the injured appeared to be spectators who gathered for the 117th running of the race.
NewsCenter 5's Sean Kelly said the impact of the explosions could be felt blocks away.
The victims were being taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.
NewsCenter 5 and WCVB.com will have more information when it becomes available.
Sometimes the message can be as simple as, you can't feel safe anywhere.

Are you guys seriously playing detective work with little to no details? You going to win a prize? Giddy because you "called it"?
Plausibility /= factAttacking a huge famous public event reeks of terrorism. It's a scare tactic.
Too early to say for sure, but you can't help but wonder....
What if North Korea is somehow involved?
Which was largely a joke.Boston is where the Aqua Teen Hunger Force bomb scare took place in 2007.

Anyone can race. For the people saying 3 hours after it finished, thats 3 hours after the first person finished. Others are still filtering in.
Boston FD: possible incendiary device at UMASS library
This is my guess as well. HorribleI think it's more likely to be a random nutjob than organised terrorism. Just too strange a target.
