I can read it just fine. It's the proper size for the game.
Best I can do (I was trying to locate a cow using my witcher senses)Can anyone screenshot it and show me? I don't have the game yet
You're all sitting too far away, simple as that. Text is a little small, but if you were the proper distance from the TV it would be less of an issue.
There is an option to change the font size isn't it?
It hasn't bothered me but I heard Jeff Cannata complaining about it on DLC. Hopefully it gets patched for people who have a hard time with it.

We want text that is readable being "far" away from the TV.You want an UI that takes up half your screen?
The font size of pretty much everything but the subtitles is just an insult to couch gamers isn't it? There is just no way anyone can read that without squinting or sitting 50cm from their tv.
How are you guys dealing with this? It was horrible in the Witcher 2 as well but at least they somewhat improved it with patches and mods later on.
The subtitles are almost ok, all the rest is for ants.
The classic "everyone's having a problem but since I'm not having it there is no possible way it could be the game". You're either sitting way too close to your TV, or you're simply ignoring this.
If the above wasn't obvious, yeah I'm totally having this problem. I don't have this issue reading the UI of either of my consoles or the text/UI in any other game. The last time I had this issue was playing Dead Rising on a CRT back in the day. The text is way too small when I can't read it on a 50inch TV from the length of the Xbox One USB cord away. (Playing on PS4, but that's my distance reference.)
To be fair, if you're a comfy couch PC player, you're getting doubly punished.Maybe it's a case of petty revenge for all the abnormally large text PC gamers have had to put up with in multiplatform titles.
Yeah, it's not necessarily unreadable, it's just unpleasant.50" TV, perfect vision with glasses, reading alchemy ingredients is a pain in the ass...

Please fix this CDPR. In the meantime I will try the zoom option on PS4.
Does the PC have any mods for this?
I'm pretty sure it's because nobody bothered testing it on a TV from couch distances and even if they wanted to, there's no QA test setups that replicate those conditions. It's pretty baffling that this made it out of testing.
Sorry for low resolution pictures as they don't do justice to the situation but you get the idea. Saving screenshots on Twitter.
I can't see clearly what items do (bottom left).
Can't read what the in-game card game is suppose to do either.
I'm sure it's good for some people, but I'm playing on a 60 inch sitting 8 feet away and I'm having trouble. Definitely taking me out of the experience.
Except for all the people who play PC games on their TV. There's a reason the mod for this was called "comfy couch" in Witcher 2.PC generally wouldn't need mods for it because you traditionally sit way closer to a monitor than a TV.

Most QA seems to be done with monitors so that the testers can spot bugs easier, so developers with in house QA probably skimp on that to cram in as many testers as possible.QA doesn't test for probably 90% of end use cases? That seems smart...
Yes I haven't noticed any issues with it. I'm playing on a 40" sitting about 3 feet away.
