I wish I had waited, I paid £28 a few days ago, normally I wait for much bigger drops but I was bored and wanted something to play. It has some performance issues and bugs that need to be fixed too so waiting would have definitely been smart.

What's Amazon DE policy on price mistakes?
Managed to buy something with -50% on stock price yesterday and now it's back to normal, wonder if that was mistake or just some lightning sale. Should I expect to get the goods?

Was it a pre-order? Check your Rechnung. Chat with the support. That's how we got the 175€ Switch back at launch.

Akiba's Beat is currently 19,99€ from a third party seller @amazon.es, it's probably a pricing error but since it's managed by amazon will they make up for it in any way if the guys end up cancelling the item?

Well it wasn't cancelled but I recieved Aegis of Earth for the PS3 instead of Akiba's Beat :p

To stay on topic:
Battlefield 1 is 29€ on PS4/X1 at mediamarkt.de

Anyone has any experience with coolshop?
I just got a refund on my card, but in the webpage it still says accepted?
It's a pre-order for Rime, for switch, it's suppose to came out in 2 days.

edit: maybe it's because it's unclear when the switch version does come out?

at some point, these basic always recommended shops should really be listed in the OP

coolshop
base
365games/shop4world/shop4de
simplygames
etc etc

are all good shops.

I know, I was referring to the refund without update or email... it's weird

On mobile at the moment but was in Argos earlier and they had Lego City on Switch for £30. Didn't see if PS4 and XB1 versions are the same.

Anyone who doesn't already have Dishonored 2 and doesn't buy it for ShopTo's price if they're able to is, frankly, mad - it's an astoundingly brilliant game.

Tesco Direct have a new set of discount codes that can give some decent deals:

£5 off £40 - TDX-GHWP
£10 off £75 - TDX-KYMX
£20 off £150 - TDX-HKFY

A few suggestions for pre-order titles that could be worth combining with this offer:

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy - £25
RIME - £25
WipEout: Omega Collection - £25
FFXII: The Zodiac Age - £29.44

I didn't think the first game was all that good. I'm assuming the sequel is similar is many ways?

Not that I don't like the genre or anything. I enjoyed the latest Thief installment.

So I watched a few videoes of Forza Horizon 3 and the new expansion. I have a gtx 970, so I should be able to run it well. But, it's so pricey! As far as I understand, it is one of the play anywhere titles, but then it is only sold on the xbox store.

How often do Microsoft have Steam-like sales? Also, can I buy it cheaper from another region?

When it's on sale on X1 (digital), it's also on sale on PC. You can buy it from the Xbox Store and download on your PC. And yes, you can use different regions to get it cheaper, but you need to use a fake address and get the proper region gift cards.

You can also try looking for an X1 digital code somewhere (I'm pretty sure the biggest retailers sell them), as they have sales more often. Basically anything but the X1 retail copy will get you the PC copy.

And a Frozen Anna/Elsa for 9€, my 3 year old is going to go nuts next time she is good and gets it as a surprise
[edit] screw that only £3.99 on co.uk, she can have it when we next go to my parents house :)

TBH I feel somewhat bad for picking it up so cheaply, I loved the first and would rather the market reward such good quality single player games with big sales. However this year so far has not been cheap and I couldn't justify full price, (to a certain extent Bethesda's new review policy does not endear me to reach into my wallet even after good reviews as well, little bit of nose/spite etc). Tenner though, great price.

same kind of game still, just with two characters to pick from. not sure why you'd like this one of you didn't like the first. also not sure how anyone wouldn't like the first game. :D

Maybe I should give it another try, but I didn't like the stealth mechanics.

Yes, I added the info. Also take a closer look to their PS3 games. They have many other NISA games on sale there too. No wonder, they are part of the german distributor for NISA games here.

Yep - it very much follows on from the original in terms of gameplay and setting. For £10, you can't really go too far wrong IMO, but then, I loved the original game too.

Yeah, I get where you're coming from there - with both this and the recent £5 for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the relative lack of success that the lower prices imply is sad to see;Prey seems to be starting to go in the same direction too. I just hope that the critical success of each of the games is enough motivation for us to see future similar games - immersive sims are far too thin ont he ground for my liking.

Any good deals on Nier Automata on the ps4? :p
I guess that having been able to find stock of the SteelBook again a few days ago doesn't count? :p
