Alex the kidd was legit amazing, way ahead of its time, still enjoyable today and has a pretty good sound track. SMS was segas version of the nes but it actually had better graphics and was supported even far into the genesis era. It definitely played second fiddle to the nes in the USA at least, not sure why it was a better console

I did have love for (J)RPGs on the SNES, but I picked these 5, because they hold up better. You can boot them up and show anyone that the SNES is definitely in the race for "console with the best game catalog".

Some others I could mention are Saturn Bomberman, Sonic Jam, Shining Force III, Daytona USA and some others that aren't coming to me off the top of my head.

OG Xbox. Wow, I actually owned this console.

1. Halo: CE - this one's easy
2. Halo 2 - made Xbox Live for me
3. Ninja Gaiden (Black) - haven't really played much of this one honestly
4. Panzer Dragoon Orta - pretty unique game, and sadly the last true Panzer game
5. Dead or Alive 3 - for me it was the graphics (character models) that made it, and it STILL looks good to this day; it was also accessible such that even non-gamers were able to jump in and enjoy the spectacle
