Seems like we're all very thirsty to see Manziel fail at the next level. I do see Evans lasting longer in the NFL than Manziel, by a large margin.

I don't think anyone doubts that. I've seen a couple scout writeups that said Evans' height and skills make up for his speed, and that he should be successful at the next level.

The best thing that came out of the last two weeks of FSU football is the small retraction of hype surrounding Jameis and more hype going to the entire offensive side of the ball. Freeman, Wilder and Karlos carrying the ball, Greene, Benjamin, Shaw and NOL catching the ball. And our offensive line doing a damn fine job of enabling all the plays.

Jameis is great, but he would look MUCH more like a freshman if he didn't have such a crazy group of talent surrounding him.

I think we have the better team overall, but it could be a slugfest between the defenses. I hope to see some creativity on offense like we saw in Lubbock two weeks ago.

FSU lost to Wake two years ago because they lost to OU and Clemson in the two weeks prior and were in free fall from that. Miami coming off a two game emotional losing streak to FSU and VT… Duke on the rise… anything could happen.

I don't really care anymore since FSU no longer needs to worry about strength of schedule to get to the MNC.

Have a kicker who missed his last couple attempts, but now at the 25 in overtime only needing a FG to win? We're close enough! Just call 3 runs right into the teeth of the defense!

Well I was supposed to be studying for a test tonight, so naturally I went back to track this thing from the very first Princeton-Rutgers game in 1869, and I found that the thing matched up perfectly! I also found that Texas had a pretty good record pre 1971 and held the belt during all 3 of their national championships!
