Maybe, maybe not. I've had a decent amount of interactions with cops and about 3 out of 10 displayed their ego.

Of course that's all anecdotal.

Must not be black. I've been on three ride-alongs with three different deputies from the Sheriff's department and they were all condescending assholes to everyone civilian they encountered. They also had this weird "We're better than PD." attitude they brought up constantly.

Every traffic stop, random ID request, WWB, DWB, etc has been some asshole who thinks his word is law. The profession attracts sociopaths and bullies.
