I am totally hyped about pre ordering this! The song list is deep and varied enough to get me to keep playing...

But, considering that all we've seen is the turntable, the game itself could shock and amaze
no, it won't. I was being polite
That's what I've been assuming. The other in-game DJs did mixes.Timo said:If Daft Punk's in, I'm in.
Editt/// Is it reading to anyone else like Daft Punk themselves might be behind some of the mixes? If so, I'm even more excited.

DJ Hero is at least attempting to replicate the feel of being a DJ by having you mix tracks. DJing isn't about a certain group of genres. It's not Electronic Hero.inner-G said:I'm not sold on DJ hero.
Scratch looks like the real hip-hop game, and DJ hero looks like a mashup mix game.
+ The Scratch controller also looks far superior imo. But, I'm waiting before reviews before I order one, if they aren't OMGWTF amazing, there's no way I'm blowing $100 on one.
The setlist for this game really chaps my ass though. There's almost NO straight hip-hop mixes. I don't want fucking sabotage or Daft Punk or Motorhead in it. It's just going to suck if the one DJ game that 'wins' is the one with the terrible rock/techno/mashup setlist.
Is that on the box? :lolTheGreatDave said:DJ Hero is at least attempting to replicate the feel of being a DJ by having you mix tracks.

Yea, I'm already planning on getting Scratch, it just sucks that the one that stays truer to hip-hop feel is the one stuck in development hell.Tiduz said:if you want custom tracks and more than playing a game get a djset.
simple as that. its not the granturismo of games, this isnt really a sim. shit seems fun to me so im getting it
