All of these pics are completely new. Some are just different angles of previous shown cutscenes.

This serves as a good reminder of how great the leads look (Nero, Kyrie, and presumably Dante), attractive and yet realistic. And how yet again they successfully make a very nice independent design for the female lead (no confusing her with Lady, Trish, or Lucia).

Otherwise, the other thread suggests they'll be engaging a bit of a circus out there.

No they aren't but keep trying. There hasn't been a single shot released from the 360 version thus far and will not be until close to release date. They just started working on the 360 version that's why, PS3 version was near completion since June.

I strongly doubt we have seen anything Xbox360 about this game and we probably won't until TGS. I also expect a japanese PS3 release in December and everything else in Q1 2008

The game also runs at twice the framerate though, so it's not surprising some concessions may have had to be made.

I don't WTF you guys are smoking but the game is actually looking a lot better than the last time we saw the similar images (ie. when it was still PS3 exclusive). The game looks absolutely ****ing incredible, haters are owned total.

Wow DMC4 is looking even better graphically, awesome. I can't wait .

PS3 is still the lead platform to our knowledge, so I wouldn't count on them being 360 screens.

This was revealed in an IGN interview of the Producer back in June (you can search the DMC4 section at IGN, it's there). 360 version is now in the works, PS3 version has been near complete for quite some time now. The game is slated for March 2008 release when it was originally supposed to come out in September 2007.

I don't really mind at all, but I would like some ....ing discretion when it comes to discussing about DMC4 and not letting it fall into "Meh those look very 360-ish to me". This game can still go toe-to-toe with some of the better looking next-gen action games out there and these images are a testament to that. Please everyone keep your console fanboyism out of this thread, it doesn't belong here. The DMC franchise is above this ridicule.

P.S. I bet Nero is Dante's son. NOBODY but the white suits knew this....they were raising him to be able to kill Dante because, in the future Dante becomes evil(Due to DTrigger) and tries to rule all realms.


Unrelated to DMC4: Is Virgil a good guy? I just finished reading the DMC books and they kinda show him as a hero(mainly in DMC2:The Book)
