Feel free to sign up, but make sure you put that you'll be gone until the 27th in "Additional Comments" . If a captain is fine with that and drafts you, you're golden. If you go undrafted, you'll be a free agent and have a chance of being put on a team when you get back (should a spot open up). So it doesn't hurt to sign up.

Try going here and clicking the Update button at the bottom http://www.dotabuff.com/pages/enabling-statistics

for public chat rooms click the refresh button (circle arrow button) to see current players in the chat room.

Great inhouses today guys (started these a lil early but that's ok). We had one of our best dota-gaf captains, the one and only freakinchair, lead his team to a comeback victory with his now legendary phantom lancer ;):

Inhouses are generally hosted as CM, and anyone can host them. Just make the password 'ihl' and let people know in the IHL guild chat. These pre-pre-season inhouses are just for players to get to know each other and for captains to scout players they might want to draft. Also, I think games are actually still going on tonight if people want to hop on and try to get in. Just watch that clan chat and try to spectate someone in the game (through the guild channel) to see when the next game will begin.

the picking banning order in cm is always the same.

Person who does coin toss does it online and print screen the result? Or have an admin do it

yeah you are right just have someone else do the toss works.
for the pick/ban I meant that who gets to first ban/pick is random and not related to radiant/dire sides.

Thats exactly what we will do, but im just going to randomize it to keep it partial.

Winner will be told, and he/she will have the choice of First Pick or Map Side. Loser of the randomizer will default to the other.

Oh wow, I figured this was never going to happen. I haven't really been playing a lot of Dota recently but there's nothing like getting you back into it than a potential obligation!

Yeah that's fine, sorry for the late response. You don't look like a meeru, banned account, or a 6k smurf so I'm going to go ahead and say we'll sign you up on your alt account. However, in the future we might put in a minimum games requirement in an attempt to deter smurfs--I never specified this for IHL2 though, so you're ok.

Anyhow, just a notice to everyone that I'm going to be going dark for finals week for a few days (until 3/18), so direct all PMs/questions/invite requests to TUSR until then.

Sorry for the late response, but I may have to step out of the captain sign ups. I won't be available on 4/3 at the specified time. I will be available at an earlier time like 12pm to 4pm..but not 6:30pm.

Which leads to another question. Can captains appoint any their teamm members to take on the captains role during drafting? Or will captains have that responsibility as well?

Captains are responsible for selecting and organizing the members of the team.

They are not required to draft hero lineups.
