Looks fine, but it does nothing for me as it's a game I will never touch. Who knows, maybe Capcom is keeping DDO for Japan and making a special offline DD2 for the west? Ah who am I kidding...

Since this is coming to PS3 will this game be on parity with 9 year old console hardware 256Mb+256Mb (PS3)?

Like no weather effects, increase in enemies, encounters and elaborate designs etc. and everything else is the same minus framerate, a few extra blades of grass and improved textures on a 2015/6 PC?

I just want this to get a timely western release, I don't even care about the asset quality. Perfomance and IQ will not be an issue since it's on PC, and more importantly it's a co-op RPG. That, in and of itself, is already enough for me to be interested.

why an mmo?!.... just add friggin multiplayer to your game. :(

Multiplayer was the one thing that would get me back into Dragon's Dogma. You're psycho if you think DD's formula will be spoiled by the presence of other players.

i've read similar stuff before ESO came out...

I am going to have so much fun playing this with my friends on PS4.

Actually love the art direction in this game. Its fantasy but very grounded.

Seaside towns <333

Looks vibrant! As soon as I saw the picture I couldn't help but hear my pawn's demonically deep voice screaming "HARPIES!"

Don't mess this up Capcom, bring this to the west.

Even fans of Elder Scrolls admit the series' basic gameplay is lacking. Dragon's Dogma's one exemplary factor might very well be its basic gameplay. There already exists a template for co-op (pawns are functionally the same as player characters). Simply having real people take control of those pawns would limit the amount of babysitting they need, and introduces the possibility of actually coordinating attacks (shield/sword vaulting to get to a flying enemy might actually occur when you want it to). Elder Scroll's Online having problems such as some aspects forcing multiplayer in sections that have inaccessible single-player content is what made it suck, and that's on top of the poor combat. Even if there are stupid macro design choices in DDO, you get to fling other players up into the air so they can grab onto/stab a flying griffin, bring it down, then have your mage teammate set it on fire.

The game looks just like DD. Will the game being an MMO somehow ruin the DD's awful "fetch quest/escort mission/kill X number of ____" quest design? Will the already bland environments take a hit? And I don't ask these questions completely rhetorically. How exactly might the game being an MMO make it bad, or even just worse than DD?
