They say there will be dungeons and towers. But it clearly looks like a Musou.
I would love a Musou game with aggressive army AI....does this exist?

It's also for PS3.This is a game that I might have to get a PlayStation 4 for. Even though I really don't want to buy a PlayStation 4 or an XBOX One because I already have several gaming PCs. But I'm a big fan of Dragon Quest, not as much as Tales. But I like Dragon Quest more than Final Fantasy, so I'm looking forward to this.
I'm actually not a big Musou or Dynasty Warriors fan. But this still looks fun.
Nope, the ai is the same instead when they attack you get 1 or 2 shot.Any musou game on a difficulty above normal.
People are complaining it looks like a Musou game. I'll remain optimistic as I've been waiting for a console DQ.good lord the dislikes is wow, just wow

It's releasing spring 2015 so it's probably pretty far along. How far along is this game? Hyrule Warriors looks better IMO. Also, is there any word if this will be coming to the US?
The producer tweeted right after the reveal that it was not a Musou. So what you're seeing is a response to that. But we already knew it would be? Looks less Musou then I was expecting...
Well that's good. Oh well, I'll probably need a PlayStation 4 for Disgaea 5 anyway. So I'll get the PlayStation 3 version. It's also for PS3.
Some differences I notice from a Musou game:
1.You have party members
2.No KO count
3.A magic meter
4.You have levels
At this point, I don't care. It's Dragon Quest. If it comes to the west I will play it. I will play the shit out of it!
Yeah you are correct my bad.having onscreen party members fighting with you at all times as well as healing you with spells is indeed new. as is not having a ko count and having a magic meter.
however most musou games have levels, I really can't remember the last musou game that didn't have a level up system
