Yeah, the beta gets patched to the main release. It was confirmed in the comments on the EU PS Blog.

Dropping the sub will no doubt help. That was the only thing that was holding me back, but now they are going with the model I wanted to begin with. I pre-ordered without a second thought.

It affected me, this was gonna be day one on console for me until i heard the reception the PC version got so i decided to hold off on a pre order.

XB1 has been preloading super early lately. Hopefully PSN will accommodate as well since it's a large download.

I'm in the UK. Got my "choose your platform" email last week and got my code around an hour ago.

It's very different. You can enable the Xbox UI using a debug command on the PC version. It's basically the Skyrim UI. Before any borks, it works very well and is fun to play. They also have things like haptic feedback on controller when people hit your shield, when big bosses smash the ground etc.
