Namco has been smart about pampering to the community that the games are built around. As I said, a few from the wiki were responsible for the guide for the first DkS. They've been consistent with that approach, and it's good to see it here again. But it is marketing. When a few of us started the wiki for Demon's it was a great effort to bring all the information to one place. But what I hope for the guide is more supplemental information that makes it more valuable than the wiki. Lore, artwork, that sort of thing. Things you can't get from the wiki, initially.

Still pretty pumped for the game. I'm doing a semi blackout for this one.

I'm just waiting for FROM/Bamco to announce the release date of the PC version so i can go on a full media blackout.

I played the beta and yes to all of those.

That's nice to hear. But wasn't the beta like only one area? I'm really curious if we can access more than one area from the beginning of the game.

At that price it would be wise to buy 2 and re-sell the other later on for $70 if the DS1 collector's guide is any indication, lol.
