Finally we might hear about some releases other than Layton.

2nd October 2012 – Nintendo of Europe has announced a new edition of Nintendo Direct for 4th October, set to put the spotlight on upcoming titles for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL handheld systems. The announcement comes after the first European Nintendo Direct Mini earlier today revealing the European release of additional Coin Rush courses for New Super Mario Bros. 2.

The newly announced Nintendo Direct presentation will be streamed from the Nintendo Direct website on 4th October from 7pm BST and will have Nintendo of Europe President Satoru Shibata taking a closer look at titles coming to Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL in the next few months.

Won't get toooo excited until we hear about one from Japan. When they have one, we seem to get at least one announced game.

...though I do really want Harmo Knight...

50 GB tittles added

15 GBC tittles added (MG:GB included)

10 GBA tittles added

We get at least 3 VC games each week.

Special offers every week up to 60%

Prices stop sucking so now every GB/GBC/GG game won't cost more than 3 euros.

Probably putting up some older games for download? Maybe? Or they just gonna sit on three games for eternity. :p

Making SNES RPGs readily available, starting with Secret of Evermore.

I think 2012's Q4 lineup is set, but maybe there's still room for a surprise like Majora's Mask 3D or something. The Luigi's Mansion 2 delay does really hurt the lineup for traditional gamers, and lack of foresight to push Fire Emblem or Animal Crossing or something into the window does leave a big opening.

Would love to see a localised 3DS release brought forward, we need one.

Well, I really hope that they will not focus the entire ND on the already known firm releases such as Pokemon B&W2, Professor Layton and Epic Mickey.
I'd love to see a firm PAL release date for some titles that should be ready to hit the market this year, such as Paper Mario, Devil Survivor 2 or Overclocked, Extreme Escape. Plus, some DD titles such as Samurai Sakura, Denpa Ningen and Guild 01 split games.

Obviously, I'd love also some small surprise, but I really doubt about that...(Inazuma 3 & Ogre upgraded for 3DS - based on the Inazuma collection incoming in Japan - for PAL 3DS release aside the basic DS one?)

Currently polling second in Australia's federal election (first in the Gold Coast), this feral may one day be your Bogan King.
So I guess this is where they'll finally reveal Shenmue IIIDS then hey?

i'm starting to fall in love with these NDs. Even if they are not as "megaton" worthy as other conferences. I love how many there are and new little stuff gets announced that wouldn't have been noticed had they gone through the traditional route.

To be fair..calling it "Sticker Star" is enough to put anyone off.

Terrible,terrible name.

Agreed. "Sticker Star" makes me think of the irritating residue you get when you try to peel a price label off of something. Either way, I'm going to be pessimistic and assume the eShop being down is just them fixing bug issues or something. A massive overhaul with Nintendo Network functionality would be nice.

As well as the titles they announced at E3 2010 getting a goddamn release date.

I just want an date for Fire Emblem... Preferably this year.

Just a reminder: we already know that Luigi, Fire emblem and Animal crossing are 2013 titles in PAL territories.
So, no way they'll discuss about those games in this ND.
And, honestly, it would be worriesome to hve they discuss about those games: they should talk about other titles that should be 2012 releases, hopefully also confirming some titles rumored (such as Code of princess, or the DD titles)
